VERY GOOD, GIRLS, JUST DON'T YOU MIND ALL THESE SHOW-OFF SPANIARDS (I'M ONE) TRYING TO LOOK DOWN ON YOU. YOU WERE REALLY GRACEFUL AND THE LITTLE TIME YOU HAD TO LEARN THE PIECE GIVES YOU A LOT OF MERIT. IN A SHORT TIME YOU'LL BE REALLY ACCOMPLISHED AT IT, ANYONE CAN SEE THAT... YES, YOU CAN!
I did a whole Alegrias choreography with the escobilla and everything in a workshop in 5 days with 1hr and 1/2 in each day and most of the people had no previous dance experience. It is possible. The first thing they teach you in Flamenco is the posture and the power of energy, these girls seem to lack both.
that is fabulous. Sevillanas are not that easy to learn in two weeks, and specially dancers with no experinece. that teacher must be great. good work, keep it up. congrats
I'd like to see any of you pricks to better in two weeks and NO DANCE BACKGROUND. Anyway, good job guys, you did wonderful, keep practicing and ignore these hotshots that think that Rome was built in a day!!
I was in this dance, and coming from a dancers point of view, we only had a few weeks to learn this, which broke down to about 10 hours of rehersal, and the majority of the other girls in this dance don't dance. So in my opinion, i would like to see any one do this with no dance training in 10 hours!!!
ole tienen arte para dos semanas de entremaniento, aunq me dio un poco de risa parencia q estaban jugando ala rruda rrueda !lol u guys have talent 4 2 weeks of training, well done, but i did think it was cainda funny cause it looked more like u were all playing!
when i was in Malaga Spain I accidentally stepped into a bar asking for directions and their i found a crowd surrounding a couple of flamenco dancer's..i felt i was in a "Antonia Banderas movie" wow it was like i walked into a movie.
for 2 weeks and not knowing anything. They did fine... They tried and are nervous. Leave them alone and realize they are trying new things. I am a flamenco dancer as well and i understand the art of the dance. Just understand the fact they are learning something new and trying to respect and embrace other cultures. Good Job!
This is not real Spanish flamenco dance.

Sevillanas are already very easy to learn. none of the movements are hard. i dont see why they couldnt learn all of the real sevillana movements.

Where is the passion? That is the first thing to learn when dancing flamenco! Also to Teytos88 it is a sevillana just a crappy/easy version.
OleAlejandro 4 years ago 3
The girls are English and some have never danced before. This easier version was taught to them in just 2 weeks. They have done extremely well.

Lovely ladies, work more on your arms. Great choice of music. Young lady in blue reminds of a niece of mine in Sevilla, Spain.
