  • wunderschön und gefühlvoll gespielt.... zum träumen...

  • Beatifully played.. I can hear all the melody note by note and the accompaniment whiffles to our ears gently... Well done.

  • it is really wonderful!!

but it was not composed for paul kupelwieser (born 1842). it was composed for the wedding of his father, the austrian painter, leopold kupelwieser.

    nice greetings

  • So sweet and beautiful*****

    Excellent.

  • @thomasojii31 Thanks for the kind comment, thomasojii!

  • Beautiful tone (product of both you and the piano). What piano do you have?

  • Thanks mfebr! It's a Yamaha C3 - I like it, too :)

  • such a sweet piece.

the piano sounds so nice. I really like this

  • Thanks apple! Glad you liked it!!

  • I know de story of the waltz, but I ear it for first time. I love Schubert music. I visited his sacred places in Austria. I have a blog in his honour. Sorry, my english is very bad.

  • What a beautiful song, I never heard it before. You play very well, I hope someday to learn to play the piano, it's one of my dreams, I would love to learn to read and write music.

  • Yes it's a beautiful waltz - Schubert's music is always beautiful (at least to my ears)!

  • This is beautiful!! and I love your piano!

  • very nice interpreation!

  • Yes, great and pure playing, and good sound quality.

I've already listened your performance many times.

    Thank you so much.

    Meiling :)

  • Thanks for your always very nice words, Meiling!

  • Great playing. i really like the way you played this piece.

    i'm learning this piece now.

Where are you pedaling & is it the same for every bar?

Are you holding the dotted half note for the hold duration?

Any tips you would like to share?

    Thanks for you help.

  • Very nice, Tobias. Very musical playing and very good sound-quality. Which equipment do you use?

  • Thank you, Andreas! I record using the Zoom H4 with two external AKG Perception 100 mics. Note that these are probably very low-end compared to your Neumann. I'm saving a little money for an upgrade in the future :) In the meantime, I guess anything is better than built-in mics of video cameras!

  • Yeah, right. I know the AKG 100 very well, because we have them at school. I can asure you, that the sound-quality of your recordings is still really good.

I have a Zoom H4, too, but I use it only for outside-recordings or mutli-track-recordings. If you like see our little three-player-experiment with Rachmaninov on the main-page of pianosociety com (at the the very bottom).

  • Dear friend ...I am searching good microphones...but AKG Perception 100 are very good. I 'am surprised..Do they need fantom power dear friend?

  • Hello Franco! I was also surprised that they sound quite well for their very low price. I think (not sure) that AKG is no longer selling them (but surely similar models). They do need phantom power, but this is no problem for most recording units (like Zoom H4) or audio interfaces. Best wishes, Tobias

  • Thank you Tobias! I will visit your channel more often! I wish you a wonderful day!

  • You're welcome! I'll visit your channel also more often to listen to your Schubert...and also to your playing of other composers. See you!

  • Fantastic! Goodbye!

  • beautifully done! The melody is clearly distinct , and the tempo is perfect ... thank you! xD

  • Thanks, William!! :)
