a lot of the old school bodybuilders say that Harold Poole should have been given the Olympia title over Larry Scott the second year that he won.....and looking at the photos i'd say ...yeah...but larry had that all american total package, golden boy image.....

Larry claims to have used a mild dose of dbol...around 20mg/day to increase his appetite he says...Larry competed at just over 200...he was 5' 7"...he looked fantastic at that size!! I prefer his physique to present day bodybuilders.

Bill Pearl no he mostly competed in the AAU, NABBA, and the WBBG, but Chick Sipes yes 1966 Olympia against Larry Scott. The in 1967 against Sergo Oliva. Well that's not exactly true, in 1967 Sergo won the contest unopposed because everyone else withdrew, didn't want any part of the Myth!

Scott had great genetics and great symmetry. As I recall, he had to beat some talented guys who were bigger than he was, like Harold Poole and Dave Draper. Can anyone find out the top 5 finishers in each of Larrys Olympia wins? Did Chuck Sipes or Bill Perl ever compete against Larry in the Mr. O?

Larry was the greatest. I was at this show - it was the 1964 IFBB Mr. Universe. Do you have a video Larry winning the 1965 and or 1966 Mr. Olympia? His level of development was greatly superior to this, as impressive as the Great Scott looks here.
