the body will shut down, but necrosis is not as much of a threat as is heart/respiratory failure. I was bitten on the shin by a diamondback rattler in central florida and on the hand by an eyelash viper. both were "dry bites", and i sure am glad for that. I fear a rattler far more than an eyelash.
its not a fuckin bush viper...its an eyelash viper. found all over the osa peninsula of costa rica, i've caught several in my life. extremely small, extremely venomous. not rare.
thats a beautiful eyelash viper......extremely poisonous has a hemotoxic venom that destroys skin and red blood cells can cause necroses(idk how 2 spell that but that rots away flesh) and most likely will have 2 get amputated.......hemotoxic is 1 of the most painfull venoms and slow acting the most poisonous snakes r neurotoxic
@brycetennison420 actually, eyelashes have a more or less mild or intermediate venom compared to, say, an eastern diamondback. and acually, the stilleto viper is hemo, and IMO, it can cause the most damage in terms of tissue destruction. Nero, if you can survive the "shut down" effects, then there is fairly little physical damage in most cases.
@Dannybroadsword1 ya i knew that i was jus talkn bout the 2 different types and ya hemo is the more painfull 1 destroying flesh and neuro destroys the nerval system in the spine but ya ur right bout the eastern diamond back.....i love rattlesnakes eastern being my favorite or the mojave and the mojave being the only species that have either neurotoxic or hemotoxic when the rest have hemotoxic:) cool 2 talk 2 some1 with a knowledge of snakes instead of false accusations on them
do this viper is venimous

Cool video, just makes me wonder how many exotic snakes are loose in areas like southern Fla that shouldn't be there.
hopefully not this dude! or black mambas etc.
