I picked this game up from the bargain bin and I'm really enjoing it but this sequence is probably the most frustrating in the game. It doesn't very clear at all about what you need to do next to progress and on top of that, it's a timed sequence and all the zombies are all over your ass. If the level design was a bit better and the designers of this game indicated what you needed to do next in a more obvious fashion, it would have been alot less irritating to deal with.

I love this game, but it has some of the biggest pain-in-the-ass sequences EVER! Trying to control the Glaive thingy with the PS3 controller is a joke. Especially in the final boss fight. It is ridiculous. You have to do the most accurate and tedious work while a million zombies and dozens of tentacles are attacking the shit out of you.

@sundesusanne I think I know what you're talking about. You've probably figured it out by now (3-month-old comment) but just in case you haven't - at 3:04 you'll notice he ignites a barrel located near the shooting-flames. When the barrel explodes, it causes the material it is setting on to float down and create the bridge to the other side of the room. Good luck.
