We need tough laws against human breeding (mandate vasectomies), breeding animals for meat, and coal.

I would support blowing up every prison on earth and freeing all the prisoners - and that includes child molestors - just to shove down the throat of the so-called pseudo-libertarians the concept that ALL laws restrict human behavior. So, all current prisoners think the laws against THEM are unjust.

It really is admirable to watch you people try to mobilize for this to happen, but it doesn't matter how many of you try, it's not going to make a difference. The market is what makes the difference. When solar, wind, etc. cost less than fossil fuels, then you guys get your green paradise. Just be patient, it's coming!

According to the United Nations 170,000 square kilometers of forest is destroyed each year. If we constructed solar farms at the same rate, we would be finished in 3 years that would power the whole world

I am getting on my bike!!! Like I do every day to Campus!

Short distance I'am actually faster than cars, and even though I love cars, I love my bike more... feels so much more efficient when you cycle at your top speed without needing to waste energy slowing down and speeding up again. Unlike cars, which speed up to 60km/h only to slow down to 0- 50meters further while I am cycling past at 20km/h constant... I am running on biofuels too :P

To the "monkey wrenchers" and the "individual choicers," you're both correct. If you can influence the energy power brokers, then do so, but that usually requires a great deal of money. If you have no clout to bend their ears, then be liviing a example of personal responsibility to those around you.

BTW: I will vote for $2 per gallon on the price of gasoline to go towards alternative energy research. and a reduction of $0.50 per gallon on diesel. You'd see huge impact within a month or two. Frivelous miles reduced substantially, stupid SUVs off the road, more people riding bikes and trains. I ride my bicyle to work three times a week (32 or so round trip), we need to change lifestyles at every level to generate impact. become locovors, use energy efficient devices. and more..
