Fedor runs 7.5-10 miles per day and trains in high altitude. He doesn't lift weights and that's why his muscles aren't defined and it's also why his joints and ligaments are so strong and he rarely gets injured.
His training methods actually make him much more expossive and powerfull than he would be with conventional weight lifting.
I'm shocked that more MMA athletes haven't taken a page out of his book and done away or at least drastically reduced their weight training regimine.
I don't think the training is whats making him the best MMA fighter. I think he has the best technique and fighting sense ever. He never makes mistakes in his fights. He fights very consistently too.

Lol, no skills? What are you talking about? I don't like the UFC and how they treat the sport in general, but its fairly obvious that they have a really good group of fighters. Pride was the top dog, and their fighters lost in the UFC. Even with the different rules and atmosphere, there isn't any excuse to explain that.

Fedor runs 7.5-10 miles per day and trains in high altitude. He doesn't lift weights and that's why his muscles aren't defined and it's also why his joints and ligaments are so strong and he rarely gets injured.
His training methods actually make him much more expossive and powerfull than he would be with conventional weight lifting.
I'm shocked that more MMA athletes haven't taken a page out of his book and done away or at least drastically reduced their weight training regimine.

I don't think the training is whats making him the best MMA fighter. I think he has the best technique and fighting sense ever. He never makes mistakes in his fights. He fights very consistently too.

you are right. fighting is not all about training and gameplan. dont get me wrong, its good to train and have a gameplan, but when your gameplan fails then what? to be a good fighter you need to know how you handle every situation(and training helps with that). thats why when you watch fedor or anderson silvia they always look calm and know what they need to do next to get the upper hand.
