Emaj7 is the E Major chord with the seventh note of the scale, which is a D#. So technically, any time I'm playing a D# with E on the bass, I'm playing EMaj7.

I love what you've been doing. Using that awesome talent God has given you to help others. I recently played "Amazing Grace(My Chains Are Gone)" using your tutorial. It wasn't great, but I did it =D

I really regret not taking my piano lessons seriously since I would be the pianist in my church and be able to improvise easier. Now I'm retaking piano lessons and I'm relearning stuff that I learned around 7 years ago.

Only problem is not reading notes fast enough :P Means more practice.

This video is to compliment the tutorial. Like my other videos, I typically play the songs exactly as I taught it (with the chords), then I "perform" it again in the end to show how it could sound. It's not mean to be exactly the same as the tutorial, but so you can see how the whole song fits together.

I can read both chords and sheet music. Most of the time I play at church i do a combination of both (usually introductions are written out in sheet music while the rest of the songs is in chords).
