LOL, I don't know how we did it, but we accidently ended up in the underground car park if Tesco in Prague while driving through the city. Tesco Guildford, to Tesco Praha. Sad!
To show a bit of Prague or to show how far you have to drive ( drive first of all) supplying such a corporation like Tesco where it profit goes to different country and its policy kills local shops and its products mostly doesn't come even from Czech Republic to buy your groceries....
Recently I was in Prague and indeed its a very old and beautiful city. My whole year was given brief to design something on a empty site near old town which is bought by Tescos(sad but true). We have to study the site and Prague carefully. I am wondering why did you make this film ?
When I was young I thought Prague and the rest of Eastern Europe was in ruins and poverty in post-soviet times. But it's baeutifull, nice drivng and the city. By the way, what are the name of the songs?
@Dsl1640 how sadly mistaken you were then. prague (though not the whole country ) has actually become one of the richest places in Europe. (5th in the EU in terms of GDP). As far as I am informed prague has never actually been destroyed and the country never once was in poverty even in the darkest times of communism which slowed the economic growth.
Why on earth are you comparing czech republic to eastern europe?? it is not even located in the east ! so what are you babbling about ?
@BenTennison16 It officialy is eastern european and also it is i think the most western slavonic country. i like to think of it as central/east european
@TheMadMoravian Czech Republic officially belongs to Central Europe! Here is a quotation from Wikipedia - The Czech Republic (i/ˈtʃɛk/ chek;[8] Czech: Česká republika, pronounced [ˈtʃɛskaː ˈrɛpuˌblɪka] ( listen), short form Česko [ˈtʃɛskɔ]) is a landlocked country in Central Europe.
Geographically it is in central europe, but culturally it is east european
East/central

Great video. Vinohrady must be one of the most impressive looking suburbs in Europe. Saw it briefly on a city tour in 1989.
