@Ju1ceem4n yo, it's 18" and 20" crashes. Bass drum I keep pretty loose, like as loose at will go while keeping a tone, resonant head a little tighter. I use lower tuning on toms too, reso always a little bit tighter.

@MonsterEatingBoy sure, I just close-mic the drums using audix i5's and i think im using an sm57 too. All the mics run into a mackie onyx 1602 mixer. That mixer outputs to a computer, where we recording using "cubase", but were switching to Protools soon. I play with the original song in my headphones, then record just the mixed drums into a single stereo .wav file. I export that file, and layer that with the original song, and the video, in Final Cut Pro on my laptop. Then mix audio/export

@HierroSk8 yep 2002s. I love um. They are brighter than the A customs, but I kinda like that. It's really personal preference, I like both a customs and 2002s, but prefer 2002s personally. Love the sustain, I fell in love when i bought a 2002 24" ride, and haven't gone back since.
