They shortened down the concert in the film to fit the 90 minutes movie lenght because in Hungary they presented this as a feature film in cinemas. And yes, they filmed it with 16 cameras, all fully functional 35mm movie cameras and not video stuff. Famous cinematographer Elemér Ragályi (who mainly worked on feature films) served as director of photography, while all 16 cameras had a camera operator and an assistant, most of them young cinematographers.

This gig is even better than the 2 Wembley concerts they did on this 86 Magic European tour. I have a poor copy of this concert on DVD which I purhchased off amazon which I strongly recommend you don't buy, where can I get my hands on this copy because the recording is amazing and only shows to highlight Freddie and Queen at the very peak of their performances. Not only did this tour restore Queens credibilty it also proved to be their last finishing up at knebworth on the 9th Aught 1986.

@Kacio94, Osaka 82 wasn't filmed:) You mean Tokyo 82, right? As for the Vienna...QP doesn't have this in their archives-not even audio. Only the Austrian TV could have this in full, but I really doubt it. Some time ago, there was a rumour that whole European part of Hot Space Tour was filmed(30 concerts), but for now we haven't got any proof of it. I"ll tell you more-since 4 years ago Greg Brooks showed archive list of audio/video recordings, it's pretty obvious that QP have only TWO-MK&Tokyo.
