I feel like this performance when they put it on the cd sounds different then in the DVD. Bruce's vocals don't sound as good on the DVD i wonder if anyone else noticed this. They don't have reverb or any effects for the matter on his voice for the most part where as the CD constant reverb like the actual songs and delay better than what the DVD shows. I'm thinking since the DVD is pretty much the VHS version on a DVD that might be the case. If anyone else knows why im interested.

@DioandMaiden They changed some of the vocal tracks for the CD and DVD. Bruce's voice was in rough shape during this tour because they played so many dates so close together. By the end, he was exhausted.

Piece of mind and Powerslave his voice was already damaged to be able to pull the songs live..

Many times an album is the stripped down and condensed version of the music, while the live performances are the chance for the performers to expand and/or adapt or change the song as they see fit. When a band plays a note-perfect version of the album I feel ripped off. If I wanted note-perfect versions of the songs, I"d listen to the record - instead I love the live feel of a concert......

@GeneralOkan15 it all has to do with the mascot, Eddie. he was labotomized for the Piece of Mind album and 'killed' by the band at the end of the World Piece tour in 1983-84. then, like an egyptian pharoah, he was sent to the afterlife, erected on his own pyramid, for the Powerslave album. this is the subsequent tour, which gave rise to the theoretical 'return' of Eddie, alive again after dying. Live after Death. there is also an expression Life After Death, so this is a play on that.
