You don't have to be there with your parents. Anyone over 18 can be your guardian.

My friend whose 19 was there and they called my parents and told them to drive down to Seattle to confirm I was aloud there, because my 19 year old friend wasn't my parent :\

Well It might of been since im staff but, I dont think so, They both had the correct paperwork. If you didnt have the parental release form that might of been the problem. As long as you were 16, anyone below that age needs a parent with them

In the UK the only big Anime Convention is in London with small store occaisionally having a day for cosplay (can't wait for the one I'm going to go to, it's coming up soon).

Anyway, thanks for posting this! It lets me get to see what the inside of a massive anime convention looks like and, as wierd as this may sound, I really enjoyed watching this. ^_^
