Well, you're firing anti-matter through a matterless space, until it hits the atmosphere, then it turns into a flaming ball until it hits the city, then it goes KABOOM.

Well antimatter reacts with any type of matter, even light. So it would have to just be encased in some sort of penning field until impact, when it went kablooie.

I can see the many errors, like the fact that space has Dark Matter, and that even when it hit the atmosphere it would explode immediately, but "light = matter" does not seem to be one of them, or the antimatter atoms we have now would not exist.

Antimatter, converts its mass into energy when it contacts matter. Light is not MATTER, it is ENERGY. Antimatter can be stored in a place with no air and can be hold with a magnetic system so it wont touch the ground.
