  • The FS1E is one of the few mopeds that I not only respect, but also admire.

  • Yes its a brill film I am one of the motorbike riders

  • 2:56 that's what i used to say until i saw james may's twenteith century and discovered the fizzy :D

  • Brilliant. Clever casting and props, how on earth do you manage it? V professional and entertaining. I never got to a Fizzer, but had a beautiful Puch Maxi with green/cream tank and chrome borders. Crumped it on the rear of a parked Merc :-)

  • Riding out on those hot evenings in that long, dry summer of '76, 20, maybe 30 of us off to the seaside, every night after work. Amazing.

  • Ahh!, great days 1976 on the fizzies,AP 50s,Garelli Tiger Crosses and Honda SS50s [ok the honda were shite] Great vid. I dont think shops advertised 'FIZZYS' in their windows though,

  • i have a "moped" and my dad never shuts up about his amazing fizzy

  • Where can I get a copy of this film ?

  • LOL Is that your banjo?

  • Fuck yeah my dad sings the theme song!

  • @maxouventura . Hey so your dad is Max ?

He also co-wrote all the songs dude.

  • My dad is Max yes. His real name is Christopher Elliott. If SR stands for Stephen Rigg then I assume you already know that.

  • @maxouventura is the song on I-tunes?

  • There Won't be another generation like this . The super moped generation which started to end when the 30mph restriction's came in 1978 i think . Those were the best time's to be 16 and on the road .I had the Suzuki AP50 though but Fizzy's were the best . Great vid .

  • Good one! I ride a Z650 nowadays but just picked up a rough 1977 Fizzy to restore. Looking forward to reliving me misspent youth!

  • Excellent, haven't seen this for years! My brother was DOP for the short. Good post!

  • Yes, it's called 'Ronno's Theme' by ex-Milltown Brothers James, Barney and Max (as Dexterous). Written and recorded in 2006 for the short film 'Fizzy Days'.
