@DogsBestFriend4Life Wide angle lenses make all the difference in the world especially for you tube videos since they are enhances widescreen by nature. Thanks and glad you like the vid. I will be there shooting the Thunderbirds this year - we'll see which show comes out better. Cheers!

Beautiful video! I too wanted to become a fighter jet pilot, I got the jitters every time I would watch Danger Zone, or Dreams (Blue Angel Version) but sadly, I don't have good enough eyesight :(

the blue angels are really good in fact excellent but the red arrows are better, the red arrows showed up the blue angels and other flying teams over in Canada in 2010 look it up on youtube they were way better thats my opinion and i respect other people opinions
@seatgurus Nice footage...I haven't missed a performance since the F 4 days...Was hoping for the full diamond take off at the beginning,,,I remember a past performance they used an instrumental song from "The Love Unlimited Orchestra" featuring Barry White,,,Can't place the name of the tune...But it put chills in me during the performance...
I was there on the flight line right up front and didnt get no where near as good as a view..Awesome video...Same as you it was Top Gun that got me hooked...Nice edit job with the music from the movie :)...You need to tell me where you were so I can be in that spot next year lol

The Reds are awesome. But keep in mind they fly aircraft that probably aren't even half as big/heavy as the F/A-18 Hornet.
