Each song from them really makes you think of the title they named it... Like Crossroads from Cream it really makes you think of a train running... Smoke On The Water, could make you think of smoke and water, both together... Riffs back then had a true meaning, until AC/DC came in (but still they rock, but I don't think it was them), then people just started naming songs, finding a catchy name for it (even if it doesn't matter if it suits it)...

When they did Black Dog, they composed the entire song without a title. They couldn't think of one. While composing the song a stray black dog was hanging around the back door of the studio. They decided to name the song after the dog. That's Zeppelin.

The song's title is a reference to a nameless black labrador retriever that wandered around the Headley Grange [5][6] studios during recording. The dog has nothing to do with the song lyrics, which are about desperate desire for a woman's love and the happiness resulting thereby.

Black Dog? Or this song, Down By The Seaside? Or Kashmir? Black dog was titled as in written in the Wikipedia, there was a dog outside the studio, but lyrical it was about a girl who wants to do sex. Kashmir it's a desert, which Robert Plant drove through with the rest of the band in a car for at least 24 hours driving through it with sun on his face, also sand... Down By The Seaside I didn't look at Wikipedia, yet... But wtf: "no it ain't it is about a girl you fucking dumbass"... that's nice!

I mean how they got the title of the song Kashmir, which the name Kashmir is the TITLE of the song is from driving through a desert and when they stopped to ask questions the people called the desert "Kashmir", so when they were driving, Jimmy got so bored from the suffering of the sun he took his guitar out and doodled around with it, till he made the song Kashmir, lyrical (from Robert Plant) he was talking how it felt driving through the desert... Kashmir was from the townsfolk...

no im not entirely sure if thats true. led zeppelin weren't near Kashmir when they wrote the song. its near the border of Pakistan and India, which has been stiring up extreme tensions and fighting over who owns the land

lol, well I tried that and it went completely wrong! I'm passionate about music and when I listen to it, I just get so caught up into it and ignore everything else in the world, like my mind has enter the world of the song I'm listening to! Except for talentless songs, like Jonas Bros, and some heavy metal songs that did it only for $, and rap... You catch me?
