  • You sound like Lars Ulrich, are you from Denmark?!

Cool video! There are some songs I like better though but you're getting me interested in checking out other nes games for the music...

Probably, my all around favorite nes game music: Castlevania III.

    Cheers!

  • YOU FORGOT THE BEST GAMES ON THE NES!!!!

    1.Super C

    2.Gurilla War

    3.jackal

check them out or your stupid. :P

  • @xLightningWolFx Heh, I'll look into that - no sense in stupidity :P.

  • I think gun smoke has great music

  • There's no Metal Gear.... the first ever Metal Gear, music was awesome.

  • guardian legend has some great tunes!

  • metroid nes has some great tunes also

  • i can totally relate with these picks. good video

  • Aww, i remember these...used to get bubbles on my fingers with these, god, i miss the good ol' NES. GREAT Vid!

  • Thanks :)!

  • little samson has wonderful music all through out

  • Nice picks, the composer for Mega Man 2 actually composed the music for the Duck Tales game as well.

  • STOP TALKING AND LET THE MUSIC PLAY!!!

getting my Billy MAYS on! (r.i.p.)

  • Good list. But have you ever played games made by Sunsoft? I would've expected at least one game by them. I think they got even better soundtracks than Capcom and Capcom scores are pretty great. E.g. Blaster Master, Batman, Super Spy Hunter, Journey To Silius, Gremlins 2 etc etc..

  • lol!!! you look like sinbad

  • the Megaman/Rockman Series as you said was chock full of great music...albeit one of the most recognizable tracks Wily Stage 1/2 MM2 is way overplayed,I would suggest Wily Stage 1 from Megaman 7 instead

  • Did you know, Johsbond if you cosplay as link people would starting following you around and call you link, now just gotta work on your yelling! :D

  • the megaman composers pushed the nes`s musical capabilities to the max

  • ninja turtles III, journey to siluis, ninja gaiden,

  • nice work

  • Thank you!

  • Definitely a good list. Capcom games in general were not only well made and had good game play. Music was always important to these people, which makes he expereince so much better. If you ever update this list, Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers had some catchy music as well.

  • great list, i like them all.

also check out robo warrior and river city ransom (if u didnt already)

  • I hate to be a bitch but your commenting tells us nothing we dont already know, so y'know....if it went into insightful detail then yeah I'll listen, but otherwise it's unneccasary. Other than that, your list is on the ball as far as I go, so great :D

  • Just play the music. No need for the commentary.

P.S. this means zip the lip.

  • Solstice for the NES has an amazing soundtrack. especially the beginning of the game

  • I played Duck Tales on the gameboy, I liked it.

  • final fantasy vi is for super nintendo

  • stop talking and let us hear the music!

  • Have you ever heard about the Gaurdian Legend? This game in my opinion has the best nes music as a whole game. I really makes you feel like you are a part of the world! Classic classic music.

  • ducktales moon ftw!

  • You should do a top ten list of the best Boss music pieces (my personal favorite is Wart from Mario 2)

  • It's a good list of songs. I like your list

  • Good list. You should check out Astyanax (one of my favorites including the music).

  • I'm glad that you included Kirby's Adventure. I can play through that game a thousand times and still not get bored.

  • Yup, Kirby's Adventure is a pretty amazing game, considering how much they managed to squeeze out of the ageing NES hardware. But the technical aspects aside, it's just plain fun to play, a classic platformer indeed.

  • you're COOL!

  • Same here love it. At a time it was only supossed that i should beat the first world but accidentrly beat the game xD

  • Great Man!!!

  • Awesome list dude, anybody else would have said "oh Mario #1. Zelda #1", hell, even Metroid #1, notsaying these were bad, but there are so many great ones out there that people don't know about. I agree with you, that duck tales should be up there, i never played the game, but when I first heard this tune, it was so catchy and stays in your head, and it never really gets old either.

  • Couldn't agree with you more! Obviously the "classics" are well-known for a reason, but it's nice to know that there is in fact a lot of other less-known music that's also of top-notch quality.

  • dude I totally agree, I'm a nintendo fanboy myself but I don't think the major franchises have the best music, zelda has some excellent music, but as soon as I heard the ducktales song, It got stuck in my head and I loved it. I think it may just be my fave video game song ever. bringing up a close 2nd and 3rd are still alive (portal) and of course the #3 song on this list Dr. Wily's Stage 1 from Mega Man II

  • Yep. Duck tales, one of the few franchise (as in tv or movie) games, that is good. Of course, that's what you get when your game is developed by Capcom.
