  • There is an album cut out in the ether of Roy Rogers and Buffalo playing Mercury blues in a club somewhere. It is one of the finest pieces of music I have ever heard.

  • wow.. that was somethin' else, man.

  • IMHO Norton was the best all around player ever..and his rythm skills will never be matched!!! Thank you Norton..RIP

  • If you made me choose between Norton and Charlie Musselwhite, I'd have to jump off a cliff. RIP Norton, you were insanely good. Blues and tears...

  • Norton was one of the greatest Harmonicists of all time. E. Huggins.

    R.I.P.

  • Norton Buffalo R.I.P.

  • He's out of pain now. One of the all time best!

  • Sensacional!!!

  • Gee, this is Great!! Refreshing to see someone who's not afraid to play with somebody like "The Mighty Roy Rogers". Really good interplay, fits together like a jigsaw puzzle. Time to hit the "Favorite" button!

  • everyone PRAY for norton..he has stopped playing for a while......

saw him here in montana last week..one of the great PEOPLE of all-time.....

  • nice job but the cover is different than the Terraplane Blues of rogers still a great sound righton^5

  • Roy jamming what a mastermf.

  • Let Norton play what he likes, as for me the honkenest harmonica on the planet is the Hohner Special 20 and next in line is the Lee Oskar harp and an old friend swears by the Hohner Golden Melody!!!

  • forget the why's and the wherefore's of harmonica quality and just listen to the music !!!!! 'cos these guys are simply great players with a wonderful feel to what they're doing.

  • STOCK ,out of the box, Huang Star Performers, MOTHER FUCKERS!!!!One of the cheapest harmonicas ever made. Norton wont even let a custom harp touch his lips!!("You gap the reeds, it's cheatin")Thats the sound of a $15 never even played non- custom harp.

  • aebersold says "you should play the best instrument you can afford". Why is it cheating to play a better instrument?

  • Huangs are fantastic, its too bad they are no longer around, I have many Huang harps and they are fantastic...
