Muslims use that verse a lot to justify the coming of muhammad, but that doesn't really fit, because Jesus says that the one who will come after is one who could be with everyone at all times, and Muhammad can't do that. John 14:16 says he will send another advocate, but then the next verse explicitly names it as the holy spirit

1) Hey, I dont think it is a bad idea to believe in god if it makes you a better person. Whether hes real or not, the idea of someone that is there for you is enough for some people to keep trying in the worst times. I think that Head could have done it just by himself, and I dont think it was a decision of a day. I mean, he must have thought a lot about the decisions he had to take. I dont want to be disrespectful, but I think that what youre proposing is not serious.

2) The best thing would be to accept that we as humans arent able to know if there is or not a god. But thats a hard position and its easier to take a theist/atheist position. I was a Christian, but with different things that happened in my life I lost faith and I started feeling that praying was as useful as talking to a wall. So, thanks, but I dont think Im going to try to return to a religion or a belief that doesnt give me any answers, sense or anything to my life. Sorry for my English.

Their drummer?... i don't know about that. Their bassist Fieldy is a Christian though. There's a video on Youtube where he talks about how he does "read the word of God everyday" of his life. He's just not as open about his beliefs like Head is, i think that's why Head chose not to reveal who was saved. I think fieldy wants to avoid any controversial attention that would jeopardize the band or his reputation in the band; his beliefs are personal and he just prefers to keep it that way.

In the video Liveforeverprod mentioned, I believe it is the same one I saw, Fieldy did mention reading the Bible everyday. The guy asked if he was religious, and Fieldy says no. I'm not sure how Fieldy defined religious, as someone who's very very into the religion or just a Christian. He didn't really say directly if he was a Christian or not, so I'm a little unsure..
