Does the PS2 Viewtiful Joe only come in 1 language... Considering the movie is speaking english and Dante and Trish are like... Portuguese? Backwards english?

It's just gibberish. When you play through the game as anyone other than Joe, all dialogue is replaced with gibberish, save for a the lines that remain the same throughout everyone's different storylines. Only when playing through the main story as Joe will all the lines be in full comprehensible english.
