I donth think this band came before ratm because ratm were form in the late 80 even though their first album came out in the 90's and RATM is not rap metal(body count,limpbizkit...)their musical formula is unlike any other band, they mix 70's psychedelia(MC5,NEWYORKDOLLS,L­EDZEPELLIN)with oldschool hip hop(cypress hill,wu tang....) but anyway this downset is good thou
