  • "rap metal" "nu metal" "rapcore" whatever,,,its not dead,,,,you just gotta do it right. Fred Durst fucked up rap/rock music for everybody with his retarded ass red hat and squeaky vocal chords.

  • do they still rock?

  • @jalsdjflajsdlf rapcore!!

  • I love both, fuck'em hehehehe RATM and DOWSET are great what is the fuckin problem ???

  • @dgpro uh, are you forgetting about orange 9mm? out before both of these bands...

  • those adidas sneakers kick ass... which model are those???

  • I donth think this band came before ratm because ratm were form in the late 80 even though their first album came out in the 90's and RATM is not rap metal(body count,limpbizkit...)their musical formula is unlike any other band, they mix 70's psychedelia(MC5,NEWYORKDOLLS,LEDZEPELLIN)with oldschool hip hop(cypress hill,wu tang....) but anyway this downset is good thou

  • fantastic stuff

  • simply epic!

  • èessaa ee foooda ;O;S;P;D

  • This band came out before RAGE , BUT!

Downset and Rage is friends. they invented Rap metal together.

  • They weren't friends when they started. I have their demo, and Ray talks mad shit about Zack in the song Anger. The lyrics were changed for the version on the album.

  • @Lordofme666 urban dance squad came out before both of them.

  • @dubk311 yo...urban dance squad was definitely not "rap metal" they were kind of a funk band. but everyones got their opinions i guess...even if they are dead ass wrong. truthfully though you can't compare UDS to rage. and the don't even TOUCH early downset.

  • much like mushroomhead came before slipknot

  • and you forgot to add these guys came out before rage did.

  • LOL THE BASS PLAYER IS FAT

  • great band but the song is garbage sounds like e-town concrete and RATM

  • only diference is that tis band made this song before RATMs

  • these guys are good :)

  • Rap-core style is not dead, fuck emos'

  • damn straight

  • Revival of the corner stone I could never be alone

You promised me the comforter, my armour is the conqueror The meek will surely inherit the earth, inspirational guardian Victoria's cure

Under the wing of the most high, unshakable faith with a champions stride

    IT´S JUMPING OFF !!!!!

  • The guitar part with the whammy is so Tom Morello... Cool video

  • yes, it's too much Morello.... it would be not that way....

  • The symbol of the cap is equal to the Vasco da Gama!

    A soccer team of Brazil.

  • Bassist is workin' it in this video. Good shit.

  • awesome !

  • oldschool!!!! yeahhh

  • What a mess.

  • Fuckin awesome !

Revival of the corner stone I could never be alone

You promised me the comforter, my armour is the conqueror The meek will surely inherit the earth, inspirational guardian Victoria's cure

  • the guitar reminds me of tom morrello a little bit

  • wtf...

  • Downset the most stunned group, very much for a long time to them I listen and by the way very few people knows it at us in Russia. And today about them a little that is audible. Last time like wrote that write a new album. Who knows, what at them?

  • Downset Rules always loved them since 2001

  • go home kid

  • moron what do you think the basis for hardcore is ? umm its rap/metal mixed go back and listen to ur lil rich white boy emo crap and stfu

  • err... WRONG!

what kinda moron would say something like that over the internet!... go listen to mid and late 80 hardcore and tell me if that comes from rap or metal.

before you go bashing someone make sure you got your facts straight you assbag.

btw hardcore evolved from street punk form the late 70s and early 80's

  • ich liebe downset.

    seit 1994 mein leben begleitet.

    sequir asi hermanos!!!!!!

  • ty,no qrwa, szacun dla nich na zawsze za ten podjar jaki dawala ich muza w mlodzienczych, szalonych latach 90-tych :))) a i ten kawalek gladko wchodzi.

  • This song pawns!! Nice band!

  • Immer wieder super!!

  • great!

  • may not be their best song but its still better than the shit that most people are pumpin' and listenin to these days

  • this song's badass!

  • I saw these guys around 1994 and was blown away, I remember they opened the show with 'Anger' but can't remember the rest, it was a great show. Not too sure about this song though.

  • I am a huge ass downset fan. But this song kinda sucks. Not because of the song. Not because of the video. I do believe this song was from universal. Not so good of an album.

do we speak... is my fave album of all time. Horrifying is my fave song. That and ritual. Don't hate on this band just because they didn't make a perfect song.

  • downset is reputations because of their moving lyrics.

  • Totally agreed,I really prefer old Downset sound.

There's a big lack of originality in their late works...

  • Downset has done a lot better songs than this...

  • 2 the person that said "I don't really like L.A hardcore though" wtf then u dont like HARDCORE, LA HARDCORE has been hitting since 1976, ORGINAL LA HARDCORE !!!BLACK FLAG!!! LA OLDSCHOOL HARDCORE INSPIRED ALL THE BANDS U MAY LIKE, LIKE RAGE

  • rage and downset both kick ass eqaully

  • gosh this song is pathetic. i love the 1994 album (downset). but this is crap. " Downset was what Rage wish they could be... ". what ever. rage kick there ass. I don't really like L.A hardcore though. so maybe if i was more into that stuff then id like these guys more. Rage are more groovy. i really don't like this song =P

  • Just this song wasn't great....

  • i happen to like this song.

  • downset has been around alot longer then rage

  • Downset was what Rage wish they could be...

  • I'm a long time fan Do We Speak A Dead Language is classic but this album really threw me, way too stripped back for my taste.

  • I Respect!

    watch?v=fKrwEZBhFzA

    from Jap.

  • One of my alltime Faves. It´s fukkin brilliant!!!

    Downset forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Underated, seen them so many times and just as fresh all these years later. Last time in London theuy cleared half the room by dissing the way straight edge has gone.

More consistant than rage and older, they used to be called Social Justice and formed in 1987.

Sick of people that know nothing but what theysee on MTV2, and say it's a rage rip of.

  • downset is older and heavier then boring ratm

check the fist cd of downset ,the song anger rocks

  • man.... lame song, u guys suck, do the rest of the logical world a favor, and never play again.. thx

  • yeah nice song xD

  • so underateted

  • Downset was formed years before RATM. Its just that Rage had more mainstream success.

  • saw them at the 1995 dynamo festival....awsome band.

  • urban ratm

  • Great song. Nice blend of styles. Almost like Rage Against The Machine but a tad heavier? Who knows, they sure look like they're from NY. Keep on rockin!

  • They're from Los Angeles, actually... But you're definitely right about them being awesome. =)

  • Actually, they're from Los Angeles... But you're right about them being awesome. =)

  • Overtalented,Underated,

    Great Band ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

  • Great Band!!! Come to Chile!!!

  • ratm at the tenth degree!

  • I first heard of these guys when they were on tour with Soulfly back in late 90s. great band and they seem to have held it together.
