I miss them too. I was a fan from almost the very beginning. Would go to a bunch of their concerts...and have all their albums, including their original demo "Ducktape"....another good contemporary (as in another band that performed in the same time frame of existance) was Michelangelo & The Difference. Michelangelo still performs from time to time and has a few solo albums out available on iTunes and such....and he has a channel on here under another band name "Signal Goodbye"
I saw "everybody duck" perform at Glorieta Conference Center in New Mexico in the summer of 1996, I bought their shirt "watch your toast", and bought their cd, I was a summer staffer there, and lived in arizona, so it was good to see someone from home! I love Suzi's diet!"
I loved when they were Everybody Duck! I also knew them after when they went by Sparklepop for a while. I met them at a coffee shop where they came to sing a few songs AND I was also in a music video they filmed at a church in Redlands, CA. I have never seen that video! The song went like, "I'm so happy that I found Jesus...." I've always wanted to see that video!
They were a funny group, weren't they? They were still funny when they went by Sparklepop. I'm not sure how long that group lasted though. I've always wondered what happened to the video I was in, but perhaps the group split up soon after and it never was completed? Who knows! I found Miranda on myspace.... maybe I'll ask her.
@snowqueenkat They WERE a funny band. Even though it was about 95 degrees on the day of the shoot, we all had a great time.
I heard Tim & Miranda got married. I suspected there was something between them. I don't know if that had anything to do with DUCK breaking up. But if you're talking to Miranda you'll probably find out what happened. Happy Thanksgiving!!
@snowqueenkat Actually, Sparklepop was a different band formed by the female vocals of Everybodyduck and I think it was the drummer (she had married one of them if i remember correctly.) But they did have the same style as Everybodyduck.
When I was living In AZ I became a friend of the band after meeting them at Holy Grounds Coffee shop where they came open mic nite. I remember the night I helped the band haul the equipment to the house and hung out while they practiced I had a lot of fun that night with Darin, Molly, Cory, josh and Mike. I still listen to them all the time.
Shags was the dog that hung himself because he jumped over the wall with too short of a rope. Just like ME and my sinful desires! I want this CD again!!!!!
Haha, this was an awesome band back in the day. They were actually my first live concert. I was pretty young, and I whined on the way. It wasn't Sunday, and I was being dragged to go to church. I actually had an awesome time though. I think the video captured the unique facets of the the group. I still have the horse/cow CD and case somewhere. The paper cutout people on the bottom of the inside of the case are hilarious.
Each to their own. No one's forcing you to watch & listen. That's part of what makes America great. Thanks for dropping in to watch & for your comment.
I wish I could find my Ducktape tape (yes, not a CD). I got it when Everybody Duck played at a Christian youth camp in Arizona with our vocal group in 1994. They were great.
8 Seconds On a Holy Cow is an awesome CD. Everybody Duck, Caedmons call, and This Train are my top three favorite bands. If you like these bands too would you respond and tell me the names of some other bands that i should give a listen to

I love this band. Although they didn't break up in 1998. The female singer and I believe the drummer got married and left the band and they replaced them both. I saw them in 2001 at Hume Lake. They are awesome though!!! They also came to the church I went to twice.
i rmember seeing them perform at my church over 10 yrs ago. i remember Darin actually preached that weekend. They are really good friends with my pastor( Francis Chan) at the church i go to.
i believe this is the best band (caedmons call comes in a close second) ever. i also like some lost dogs and early dion dimucci christian music, if it weren't for these bands i would still be living a life devoted to me and stuff i want to do and accumulate.
Sparkle PoP is only the Girl (her name slips my memory right now) in this Video but she still sings alot of the same songs. Her husband and her visited our church a few years back
OMG are you serious?? i was loking for Tim and i was like... hmmm that kinda, DOESN't look like him then i saw your comment hahahahahaha we should show him the lego's videos haha

@snowqueenkat This is the only video I did with Duck.
It was shot in the Pheonix, AZ area. I think it was actually the house of Tim's (drummer) parents.
Duck broke up shortly after this video. I haven't talked to them since.
