Ok, the music itself is really fun and I can kind of forgive the lyrics, plus Stuart's dance is entertaining...but...and I say this as a great lover of BC and Stuart in particular, the American bluesy country accent is a little tough to listen to.
This was when Brzezicki had left the band and was working as a session musician. I believe this "Beastie Boy" looking drummer is Chris Bell, who I think plays well. Pat Ahern had played with them previously, but I reckon Chris is better. Thankfully Brzezicki returned for "The Buffalo Skinners" tour onwards, but it was Simon Phillips who played drums on that album. I hope that all makes sense!

The first 3 Big Country albums are magnificent!!
I can't say the same for the rest of their stuff.
