I played Alundra 1 and 2 and I loved them both, stop complaining about how the game looks, and how the story isn't the same, it's all about fun. Look at Final Fantasy, the stories are never related and they are still fun to play, Alundra never took off because you guys didn't give it a chance.

You know when I still owned this, I struggled through frustrating and slippery controls, and when I get close to the end of it and couldn't get past this one part where you carry blocks over some fire, I can't remember, I got so pissed off that I stopped playing it after that. I think it ended up in a yard sale a couple of years after.

lol i finished the game when i was 14 or something now im 21 that brings back memories .... it took me 2 months to beat the game and it took me 2 months also to finish 5-6 next gen games, old games are ridiculous to beat ...

I think it's more a Playstation-version of Zelda. It has a hero who dosen't really speak, a princess, dungeons and puzzlesolving. Sounds more like a zelda-Psgame than a mario/FF-game.

But also, in Alundra you have the ability to Enter peoples dreams, thats kind of an out their idea, lol i played Alundra after playing The first Soul Reaver of the legacy of kain, IT was a great follow up, wish i bout it earlier

This game is so...strange; not only in animation, but in story too. Everything is looking very serious one minute, than the next they stick in some weird joke that doesn't seem all that necessary. I'd still like to try it though.

i think alundra1 is like a more adult version of zelda because in zelda no-one seems to die an in alundra half the village are killed which to me makes it better than zelda because it seems more realistic

oh thats bs dude...just give the game a shot..it is a jewel.. and well developed in almost every aspect (graphic,plot,chars,puzzles, music- ff composer,boss fights) it was ahead of its time...i played almost every rpg/advanture out there and am a freak concerning rpgs..you won't be disappointed..

Alundra 2 is a great game, but it took me a lot of time to finish the game, even in "easy mode" and I couldn't collect all the Puzzle Pieces! The repeating music is quite annoying, so I always put some different music on when I play with this. I wish they'd make an Alundra 3 for PS1 or Ps2'd be great too!
