Great song. I saw them do it live in 1968, passing through Berkeley just before going in the Army. The video is pretty moronic. This is indeed the track that splashed a whole new tone on the direction of the sixties. I remember how shocked the entire basement of Motown friends of mine, it boiled down to a wonderful outsider and I who danced all the way through it to applause at the end! Either no one else dared, or we were so great at improvising in the ere of boogaloo? At that time Sly & the Family Stone were slowly being accepted in my neighborhood! These are very talented brothers. This is one of the very few songs that I can listen to EVERY day, SEVERAL times a day and never get tired of it. I've been listening to it for years now. The drumming, especially, is phenomenal. It's so sad that Brian had a heart attack and passed away at such a young age. The world lost a great and talented drummer.

Great song. I was in the air force 1968-1972 when "Time Has Come" was all over the radios and played on record and tape players in the barracks. It was an important part of the "60's soundtrack".

@SimonEissen Interesting point... the shorthand in popular film, tv, and movies when they want to represent "DA SIXTEEEES" is to show a kid with long hair and an afro with a headband and a dashiki strolling along while Hendrix plays or show a bunch of helicopters over Vietnam with some other song from the 60s.
