oh my! I was afraid when you flipped the lid- the bees comb would fall apart- phew!! so glad- if i did that during the summer- that comb would have been too fragile- so glad it worked out!! yaayyy
In light of your comments regarding the passivity of this particular hive, it makes me feel good to know that not all bees have been jacked up genetically by those south american killer bees that've made the way north for last 30 years. Is it that some hives simply didn't get influenced or has it been time that has played a roll in mutating genetics back to a more passive non aggressive bee? Hard to believe why all bees haven't turned aggressive from those nasty killer bees from the south.
Why? He's a beekeeper. Besides, bees are a pivotal, essential part of our ecosystem. Why kill them? What's the point? Not only is it needlessly cruel, it's harmful to everything and everyone.
Honey is delicious, mead is the nectar of the gods. People who burn honeybee hives or destroy them are idiots. Wasps are pests...I can understand that. But not honeybees.
Wasps are assholes. They pollinate, but they're assholes, aggressive bastards. I've been stung by a wasp when I was yards away from them. Grumpy little bastards. Won't cry for wasps. But honeybees are good.
@xxSanadaxx oh ya im verry cruel to ground hornets if they atac and sting my dog im there worst night mare i waight into night fall when there all home inside there hive in the ground then i get the gas can and pore some nice gas down there and light them up and watch them burn like shit there not going to bother my dog anny more ground hornets i have not tryed it on bees because there not stuppid like hornets or wasps
do you manage to get stung through that beesuit or is it impervious to attack? very interesting stuff, put up more Beehive extractions; definitely something one does not see everyday!
he doesnt just want the honey, he wants to keep the hive alive since theyre useful for farmers to grow produce. hes probably selling hives as well as using them himself if he has an orchard
U, sir, are a very brave man. And I love ur line for the 2nd part of the vid in which u removed the massive hive for the outdoor closest in Centeral Austin: "Welcome to Texas, the only state in the union where our roads melt." - dangerously allergic texan
@shilo370 You are eligible for the same treatment. Job well done then. Good riddance. Don't you moron know bees are essential for pollination and therefore for our safe life on Earth ?
next time try to use a metal string or a string to cut the wax, it easier

By looking at the vacuum apparatus, is it safe to say that you are trying to keep these bees alive for the new hive?
