Look at and compare the history of the two nations, Burma and Thailand, Burma used to be a greater country, but because of inside conflicts and Kingdom system Burma is self inflicted destruction, now Burma still struggle after gaining independent. Thailand still have good Kingdom is doing far better than Burma and neighboring countries (Laos, Cambodia recently lost the King). Long live the King of Thailand.
