Hmmm reckon this an acknowledgement of the legendary Discharge, but does not capture the spirit in the way that SOD covered Hear Nothing, See Nothing, Say Nothing
Ask Scott Ian on MySpace so you can request it as an encore.
Anyway, this is a song about the comic Sam Kinison.
Dan Spitz explains where he stands with the whole subject matter of John Bush replacing Joey Belladonna:
"Anthrax music was getting heavier or aggressive even, it was just what we had in us, it was just a changing of the guard that I was not happy with at all. John is a great guy personally, killer guy, but as far as my music, fuck no. I write dynamic, he has to be able to sing."
You're right! I was an Anthrax fan in 1990 and one of my classmates borrowed me Seasons in the abbys by Slayer and I thought that was kickass, thought I didn't like deathmetal. That's how the Genre of Slayer called in Hungary at that time. Right?
I agree. Painkiller was the best Priest album since Stained Glass IMO. pure speed metal. The new album is pretty good too. A little different from the Priest sound that we are used too.
dam i havent heard this album in a while love it such an underrated classic

I don't think this song is about sam kinison. It was written in 1990 and Sam didn't die until 1992

This comment has received too many negative votes show
This is, by far, the weakest song on the album.

Death metal? Not Slayer, they're part of the Big Four.

Defenitly more agressive!

Yeah, this album to them is what ...and Justice For All was for Metallica - letting off steam about stuff that were personal pet peeves.
It's their most progressive and complex album with a great instrumental. They proved that they were Metallica's equals with this album.
It's also up there with the same year's Megadeth's Rust In Peace.

Totally agree.

It was a good year: Seasons in the Abyss was released in 1990 too. Pity neither Beneath the Remains nor Arise coincided - nevermind!
