I am gay and i`ve talked to alot of homophobes in the past. They talked to me because they did`nt even notice i`m gay! What i`m trying to say is that homophobes are that way, because most of them just don`t know any better. They think we all dress up in drag and chase str8 men. *lol*

Yes, you're right, some homophobes are that way. When they say that gays "shouldn't be in the world", what they really mean is "I didn't think they should be in the world" (or in my neighbourhood, or in my team). And when the world doesn't look like they thought it would (surprise !), they get irritated by that they were wrong.
After all, good thing of him to make an apology though ...

@warminator same here, and some have radically changed after knowing me telling they just couldn't stand the flirtatious behavior of the gay people thinking all gay people are "flamboyant", in time even the friend who had the hardest time with the flamboyant behavior learned to take a flirt as a compliment. Only took around 8 years =P (i moved when i was 20 (i was out) to a bigger city, got to know a local group of friends and they me, i have moved again since but we still keep in contact =)

You don't have to be gay to be for gay rights. Comments like that are ignorant. I know plenty of straight guys who are avid about gay rights, just because they're good people. I think they have even less a chance of actually being gay because they're comfortable enough with themselves to be outspoken in their support. The homophobes are always the ones getting their wangs sucked in anonymous public bathrooms.
