the WTF about no J8 here is thanks to the ass backward politicians in the US. They set a standard for diesel so high that its nearly impossible to reach, but hey keep putting gas engines on the road that are worse, that makes sense to me! It actually boils down to the fact that those diesels get more MPG which would dig into big oil's bottom line. So there you have that!

That's seriously messed up! When has California's stupid emissions laws ever stopped a car's release before? They can make a California version, that's what every other manufacturer does!

We could benefit from that thing here in western Nevada. Unlike other parts of the country, we actually NEED 4WD to deal with the icy streets and snowy areas, and a small diesel truck would be ideal.
