i'm having a cross behind my ear inked on me tomorrow, and i have been told behind the ear is one of the lesser painful, and beware i do have a half sleeve, go sit through one of them if you're complaining about the pain!
@Chazlotte yeah, it didnt hurt at all, it just scared the shit outta me hahaha it was really loud and it did freak me out a bit! :D I've got a lot more now, this one was only my third :p

I was so focused and excited about it that i think that blocked a lot of pain. it is so loud in your ear that it kind of takes away from the pain. the worst part about it was the closer he got to where my ear connects to my head and it was straight bone there. it hurt a little but definitely not unbareable.
I want a treble clef behind one ear and a bass clef behind the other. I already have violin F holes behind my neck. Hoping to make those two my last. lol
@elinelikeme Evan at Atomic Tattoo in Austin, TX. has a $60 minimum. this tattoo was included with my shoulder addition. I didnt pay for it by itself, so I have no idea how much it would be alone.

I have no clue if placing a tattoo behind the ear holds any meaning. I dont have a reason for it, I just wanted to know what it felt like and thought it would be pretty haha...
Im not good at suggesting tattoo ideas if I dont know you, but I would generally suggest something with flow, as opposed to something stamped... Ive seen a few really nice ones, flowers, vines, pinstripe, mine is a star and pixiedust, continued from my shoulder...
