You're choreography was amazing, 5/5, but they weren't executed all that great, 3/5, location changes were good, I liked where you guys went, 4/5, length was pretty good, 5/5, and your lightsabers were actually by far the best looking I've seen. Not in likeness to the Movie sabers, but how nice they look, easy 5/5. So over all 88%, B+, superb work. Since YouTube got rid of your sound, I didn't use that what so ever in judging your work.

I think the thing that separates RvD2 etc. from everything else is that the moves in RvD are so smooth because they were practiced so much. Even if you get it up to a fast speed, there's still that small bit of hesitation. The next level is what everyone should try for.

Good saber effects, but the choreograpy of the fight isn't much spectacular. Sometimes the moves look a bit choppy, and they do the same thing, like, five times.

both of ya shut it. there is actual attacks that lightsabers use as for it. most likely designed to counter balance the saber. as stated flinging yoru lightsaber left and right will do you no good whatsoever. Especaily against a trained individual. There are 7 Forms and around 15 or more differnt types of attacks that are made in the Attacks. Try reading up on them on wikipedia or wookieepedia. But lightsabers do not have any wieght except for the hilt. But they use them daily so they are good..

Swinging wildly with a lightsaber would do no good, because if the attack was parried by another lightsaber, the attacker would lose his her/balance. Why? Because the blade is wieghtless, and the hilt has no counterbalance. Lightsaber fights would be based around manipulating the saber's centers of gravity, rather than swinging.

Lucas in the first movie based the light saber off of Katanas, which are pretty darn heavy

While I agree with the comment, it was not constructive. For any choreographers, the best way to avoid this error is to plan the attack, THEN the defense, as it would be in combat. Tell your partner, "Then I'll go for an overhead", and he'll choose his block to defend from that.

Note that this should be for people who've been at this a while as if you miss, you'll get hit. Safety then realism, always.
