Yankees won in 2000. This season isn't even over, so they've gone 8 years.

Even if they don't win the WS this year, I'd still say they're the team of the decade. They have, by far, the best W-L record of the decade, most pennants, playoff appearances and I think they might have the best postseason record this decade.

And this is coming from a Red Sox fan.

my team for the 1st time in 13 years missed the playoffs this year. Hey its got to end sometime. Second of all, you met fan cant talk cause what did u guys do? O yeah choke and collapse in 2 straight seasons. O yeah and if i remember the yanks haveent won in a while but were still the last team to win 3 in a row and we were a true dynasty. You guys cant even keep a 7 game lead with 17 games left.
