I believe you made a mistake we owe our money to the private banks not the Bank of Canada! If we do then we would not have this stupid problem in the first place.
@EmotionalKing ahh but the Bank of Canada is a private bank, just like the Federal Reserve and the World Bank and all the others. Our tax dollars do not go to the infrastructure of our country but directly into paying off the national debt, which is held by the BoC as well as all the other private banks across the world the Corporation of Canada has borrowed money from. Fractional reserve banking is the root problem with the economy, it always was and it always will be until we abolish it.
