I'm actually wanting to work on a mod very similar to this, with some different selections for the music. I've actually got themes planned out for each campaign.
Also, a lesson I've learned with Source sound mods: generous heapings of compression are your friend.
@Bonzi77 Hmm. If you've done sound mods before, I may have a question concerning getting this to work properly as a .vpk file. So far, I'm having to do a file overwrite to make it work.
@Maverick8187 I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm honestly kinda winging it. Maybe you could find an easier way to do it that doesn't involve sending every file individually into GoldWave and adding cues?
@Bonzi77 I can't say if it's easier, but I just trimmed them down using Audacity. Not sure if that requires more patience or not, but it did take a while.
@Marlowethehedgehog Odds are I'll be doing the (more or less) v1.0 video soon. And if the game is properly supporting sound pack VPKs again, it'll be much easier to find somewhere to host it, too!
@leonskey With a new album each month out of the music crew? Better than expected. I'm trying to get a decent spread of in-game footage to go with the more recent revisions.
