  • Respect the truckers they run are country bringing every thing to stores and all that stuff

  • nice tit.

  • omg what a fat guy,all truckers are fat...bljeeeek,ugly....

  • Find 'em, don't grind 'em!!!

  • wow is that a fatman CÜSS

  • That's why they put the gears in a box and not in a bag.

  • tim, the youtube truckerstar

  • What's that mean

  • Don't worry, in 2012 they are going to start putting rubber gears in all trucks !!! LOL

  • grinding gears ! just because you miss or grind does not mean you are a bad driver ,all the drivers dis miss gears , not every day your truck engine perform the same way so missing a gear or grinding a little is normal , i'm 30 been driving all types of trucks since i was 14 yo , i did drove here in the USA and,Germany , Spain, Brazil, Argentina , the trucks here in USA are the best but i also love the gears shifter is in the Scania in Spain and Germany !

  • first off you to big too be in a cab over

  • your stomach is eating the steering wheel

  • The fat act as airbag cushion during accident, it is for safety. All truck driver like to be safe.

  • your fat is touching the wheel

  • @otobuscuemre You have obviously haven't drove in the United States if you are judging all American drivers by the guy in this video. And it's how you handle a truck, not how you look that's impotant. Spend a week in this country riding with some of the drivers. 95-98% of all truck drivers are as lean as they are in Europe, so do yourself a favor, and think before you open your mouth, or in this case, touch your computer keyboard.

  • you are fat...

  • fatty!

  • that is one fat man

  • to a european listerning to these yanks and canadians talking about cats and 18 its like been back in the 70,s.

  • can't find it grind it..lol

  • lololol....Some trucks just shift better than others. A real truck driver knows this. Try driving a different slip-seated Freightliner Columbia every day....they all shift shitty after a while. Some people know how to float 'em, and some rip the hell out of 'em. And this is not to mention how disgusting some drivers are. You don't have to be a fat ass to live like a pig.....just a jerkwad. lol.

  • wow riveting footage how come all truck drivers are fat is it a requirement for the job

  • @endracismguy It´s wery fatty and greasy fast food that truckers eat, and work is only sitting 8-10 hours straight.

I think in states and australia there are "home"kitchens that make less fatty food so the truckers don´t gain so much weight.

  • @felixchaus that's right. my dad delivers cargo in the midwest, the south, and mostly the northeast and mostly has 70 hours of driving sunday through thursday or friday.

  • Some of you guys are harsh, Why is it people have to make comments cause a person is little over weight. I think the guys drives a semi pretty damn good. I like how people are quick to say how stuff is done, That they are the pro trucker. Makes me laugh, Even pro's mess up shifting. I see this guy back up to a loading dock, all cocky thinking he is a pro, wham the right side trailer door broke off the hinges serious thats the deal with that. Like I say good to have a person to educate us

  • @e40water12 i think he does a good job steering with his belly

  • tem um gato na caixa de marcha ! HAHAHAHAHA! :D

  • First, off do you even drive truck hemtrans? Century class freightshakers are throw away trucks. Why would you need an 18 spd in a regular freight hauler? Heavy haul is all you need the use of splitting low range for. I agree Cat is better, but we run Volvos at work and the mileage out of a Volvo diesel is way better. Nothing wrong with a Volvo truck. Ride is nice and they are quiet and don't rattled like Freightliners.

  • his stomack is on the way thats why he grinds heheh

  • if you cant fin em' grind em'

  • was your seat air ride?

  • why would anyone with half a brain cell put a shitty cummins motor in a volvo??? cummins lumps are only good for busses

  • Comment removed

  • american engines like cat an cummins are shit!! european engines from mercedes volvo and scania are the best! americans only know how to eat food an grow fat

  • What are you talking about? Cummins engines are great. Got one in our Volvo and pulls 40 tons up a mountain like a CHAMP!!

By the way...please don't EVER come to America.

And don't watch American videos if you can't be respectable. Stick with your BORING ASS UK CRAP! Oh..i watched one of YOUR Videos! Holy hell it looked like a 3rd grader made it AND your camera work is SHIT!

  • @coast2coast365 all my family live in the states an im always in portland or, its u fuckin yanks we dont want here we own ur shitty country, an we dont have a nigger as political leader!!!!!

  • @Lymingeman you are right. We have a LOSER for a president. Anyway...fighting amongst ourselves accomplishes nothing. We all just need to get along. Just think if we met.. and didn't know each other...we would get along fine. So...God Bless you and your family. I'm not gonna fight anymore. ;) Enjoy Portland...What a beautiful place to be.

  • @coast2coast365 fair play friend, ur right. im sorry i was nasty, god bless u too sir :-)

  • hahahahaha thats so true

  • he was a good driver how long has he been doing this job

  • use an eaton twin split , for masters only

  • man that guy is sitting up pretty high.

  • Fat dude driving a Vulva.. err Volvo... POS truck. I drove one that was new once. In about 3,000 miles entire sections of the dash had vibrated loose. Real crap. Get a Freightshaker Columbia instead of this Swedish pile. They should have stuck to making pornos with Sven and Inga. LOL

  • wow, i cant belive somone wasted good film time on a twin screw subaru. no offense but i bet thats a volvo diesel and a waste of metal, buy a cat with an 18 backing it and 3.73's. almost like a century or t2000, just a waste of roadway and people bowing to the federal government, not bad on handling the stick in your hand.....

  • @hemtrans

    Cummins N14 in this one.

  • @hemtrans I agree my cousin drives a Volvo with a Volvo Diesel and the motor is a piece of shit! If you want a good motor, go with Cummins or CAT.

  • @hemtrans Everyone has their opinion, but yours just takes the cake for sillyness.

  • @hemtrans That's your opinion. I wouldn't touch a CAT. I'm not a fan of the T2000 too many blind spots, Century class no blind spots great visibility love the layout and feel. Enough whining about the government and conspiracy theories. What does buying a Century or T2000, a Volvo motor or a Suburu have to do with the Government lol!

  • Wich model of Volvo is that truck?

  • I saw you float those bad boys, I like your vids, keep posting babe....

  • If you watch the way he shifts, it pretty much locks into the gears on its own. He's barely touching it.

  • cant find it grind it

  • He can steer with stomach.

  • LOL yup i was just thinking the same thing! that leaves more hands for other things... like eating

  • Nice turbo sound!

  • jdudej

  • does he use a clutch while shifting gears

  • didn't look like it to me. Look at his left leg. The clutch in a truck has a very long throw. Its called "floating" the gears. As you let off the accelerator this is a short time when you just barely tug on the stick and it will pop right out. If you are cruising along and need to downshift, you just barely touch the accelerator again, and as you let off again it will pop out, you rev the engine, and slip it into gear as the RPMs come down

  • Pretty good video here. Sounds as though that RTLO-xx913 under the cab has a worn splitter section, judging from the difficult shift to 7-Lo from 6-Hi (more grinding than any other shift this video).

  • Nice shifting. Drive safe!

  • We all miss a cog, shit happens!

  • But also shift happens.

  • If you noticed before he missed a gear he revs higher than he did with most other gears. This suggest that that specific gear is normally a problem, its happens. Its called wear and tear.

  • like any of you could do better most of you never been in a fuckin truck and lets see your fuckin weight dont judge others thats up to god morons

  • LOL NICE SPEED TRUCKERSXZ.

  • What a fat fuck seems like the steering wheel can get stuck by his fat gut lol

  • dot is trying to push the new bmi standard or body mass index. I'm sure he'd fail. I am a driver also and I constantly battle with my weight I'm 20 pounds over what the Army said I should be.Mine is a health issue, his touching the stering wheel is a safety issue.

  • Grind em till you find em. Rake it till you make it. Think ya need a smaller steering wheel.

  • +1 to the steering wheel comment

  • this is a volvo idoit

  • So the guy misses a gear, big whoop.

  • not to be effensive but your brother is fat ass fuck sorry man but....LOSE SOME WEIGHTMAN!! sorry but seriously

  • bahaha

  • I agree thats not a Volvo , never had steering wheels like that for a start or a dashboard

  • Man, I miss that engine sound!

  • you dont have to shift down all the way down, i usually start from second gear when its loaded and start from the 4th when empty, do not skip gears after your initial gear.

  • is that a airbag i see ???

  • i can smell the clutch from here

  • When you stop a semi, do you have to shift all the way down or can you just hit the brake.

I'm new to this. Just got my Class A permit today, but haven't driven yet. I'm in school now.

  • you can downshift as many as you can but if you come to a complete stop you have to leave it in gear then go back down to 1st or 2nd

  • you have to shift all the way down.

  • put it in neutral when slowing down, especially when you're heavy and going fast. it's bad for the carburetor when you downshift.

  • there arent carbs on diesel engines fuel is injected into the cylinder through fuel injectors on the compression stroke

  • i was joking.

  • are u sure thats is a volvo ? ... looks like a very old model .. i never seen a volvo like that one, the dash doesn´t look like a volvo ...

  • your not even double clutching...

  • Most of us don't. Too much wear and tear on a clutch.

  • yea, save the wear for the gears.

  • Pass'em on the right....lol

  • Even the best of us miss a gear. LOL

  • can't find 'em, grind 'em!

  • True test of someones shifting is in the city where it matters.Seperates the men from the boys.

  • I,ve driven trucks in Europe and North America and to pass mthe Canadian CDL test you have to use all the gears in high range even though your running unladen. They still drive very differently in USA and Canada than Europe mainly due to the fact most trucks have crash boxes still.

  • The passenger says thats a lot of steps regarding the gears, by the sound of the revs of the engine most of them were uneccessary, he does'nt need to be splitting the gears the way he does, truckers/lorry drivers always brag that the have 18 gears or more but they dont have to use them all

  • Yea roger that. even fully loaded i usualy only split the top 2 (15,16,17,18). Diesil power. Let the engine do the work. I dont understand these guys that get a hard on using all gears.

  • I'm sure Volvo just added the extra gears for a laugh? Think before you type.

  • FOR A LAUGH?????????? Why would they add gears just for a laugh?? The lower gears are for heavy loads on hills or heavy haulage work. How sure are you that they added extra gears for a laugh?

  • I just got done changing out a clutch on a 1998 Volvo Low Boy. Shit, talk about a pain. The entire inside cab flooring had to be removed.

  • grinding that shitt out of 12th gear

  • fat ass guy driving a old ass volvo

  • Brother needs some work on his floating. Gonna get expensive.

  • CAN'T FIND IT? GRIND IT.

  • LOL. A bit of crunch never did anyone any harm... :P

  • FAIL.

Dude......instead of focusing on your brother's ample stomach and thighs, focus on his hand. Keep the hand in center of the damn screen when he is changing gears.

  • ROFL.You guys are harsh.

  • cant you hit fucking gears right you fat fuck

  • whats wrong with fat a true man keeps a roof over his tool lol but really whats weight got to do with it i bet hes backed up more miles then you've drove ahead

  • idiot

  • This guy couldnt drive a duck to water. If he had any shame he would remove his videos.

  • very good useful video thanks mate!! ;)

  • it must be hard to shift 13 gears!

  • actually no... You really just need to do it a couple times, then it becomes 2nd nature.

  • Why? It rarely gets used!

  • a true trucker dont use it only for stopin and startin

  • OH,glad you cleared that up,guess i been doin it wrong for 20 years. Try it,when you can do it RIGHT,get back to me.

  • havent you ever heard of floating gears... driving a semi is a lot different than drivin a standard car.

  • Nope, never heard em called floating gears.(sounds like somethin a rookie would say)Driven 4n4n2s to 18speeds and everything in between. Trust me,this guys needs a lesson.

  • no need to get all mad about it every one drives diffrent im just throwin it out there like i can drive a twin stick clutchles shifting but i dont brag about it sorry if i sounded like i was bragin

  • you grind gears? How did you pass your DMV road test??

  • These guys are the true drivers on the road.

  • it looks hard but once you do it a few times its like 2nd nature

  • how does that fat bastard pass his DOT physical.

  • dude.....all truckies are huge

  • NO, I've been driving for 12 years and I'm 5'10 220 pounds and have 1.5% body fat.

  • it was a joke/stereotype.....i used to be a truckie too and i am not large. 8D

  • Time to stop for a burrito.

  • Now I know why the steering wheels on big rigs are so large...easier for the driver to rest his overflowing gut on it. HAH.

  • rofl! yeapp thats what i do

  • I ride ass to floor,

    I hate that airride seat

    LOL

  • saqaaf power isint everything 1950s model 18 wheelers had power as high as 300hp and they pulled just fine all you need is tourque and scanias sound like a girl compared to the mack v8s

  • ancient compared to European trucks and he sounds of their 660hp V8s.

  • good shifting there mate if ya cant find em grind em my dad drives a 365 peterbilt flatbed with a 10 speed sounds like that

  • nothing like the humming of the old n14's , love the sound of the turbos on them, nice vid mate, put a bit of hair on the gears and u might get em in mate.

  • america america the land of the free! big macs by the look of this guy. of course his bum hurts imagine what the poor seat is going tru. whats the point in showing bad gear changing???? let your seat back a bit it might be easier to drive

  • Seat is all the way back.

  • Lmao, thx that comment, it just made my day. "america america the land of the free! big macs by the look of this guy. let your seat back a bit it might be easier to drive"

It makes your comment even funier when he says the seats all the way back...

  • yeah i don't think he saw the joke at all. america is the greatest nation on the planet we in europe would be speaking russian or german but for you guys . Watch your portion sizes cos we will need you again north korea IS JUST WATCHING. C'mon get your bellies in check this guy should be the exception not the norm.i'm irish you yanks have done more for europe than!!!! so now we all must vote yes for best for all of europe

  • how do you dare to play this video?

  • lol this guy is a goof

  • It's not grinding, it's rubbing you retarded. No synchos in the tranny.

  • I think you meant to call him a retard, not a retarded. But you hang in there you special little guy. Oh, and when I, uh, "rub" a gear, it grinds pretty loud- thats right, can't find 'em, grind 'em!

  • LOL

  • Can't find'em, GRIND'EM.

  • is that using synchos? do you have to double clutch? are there truck with two different gear levers?

  • I don't really understand why you double clutch. I have driven a semi, and there is no need to use the clutch after taking off. The gears are so large that the shifter slides into place, sometimes it takes a little persuasion. The older trucks have two gear levers. The one closest to the driver is the gear splitter. The one closest to the passenger is the range selector. On the new trucks the range selecter is the switch in front of the shifter. The switch on the side is the gear splitter.

  • Wow you made something easy to do sound real fuckin' hard. LOL!

  • Oh, and you double clutch because the transmission is not synchronized. No you do NOT have to double clutch so people do some don't. And as far as a twin stick brock described that perfect!

  • I bet this dude has never driven a truck before.

  • the sqweeking is horrible

  • You'd be surprised how many trucks have noisy seats just a lil' ol' WD-40 is the perfect cure for it.

  • Who doesn't, sometimes?

  • Grindin the gears a lil bit eh?!?!? lol:p
