@MrNikezoomair100 i like the attitude but the law and society feels differently about us... street skating is becoming harder to do, and also skateboarding becoming big and commercialized is a good thing in my opinion, these guys make fucking dirt money compared to other professional athletes and deserve to make more, and also it can help bring the respect to our sport to the average person, instread of them just thinking of us as good for nothing law-breaking skatebaorders....

@matthewjamal yeah, I've spent 19 years of my life skateboarding because I enjoy skating. I don't even watch these contests (except tampa, street league and batb these days, which are run by skaters).

My point was that skateboarding always goes through phases. It's blown up and died down again several times. Sure the x-games is always blamed for ruining it, but broadcasting it to a larger audience isn't a bad thing. Getting paid to skate isn't my goal, but in that regard the more the merrier.
