@LegendaryXwerewolve7 He is a male, we are pretty sure. He is exhibiting all male behaviours (you can see in this video that he is displaying his heart-shaped wings typical of males, also he started talking a month after we got him). The reason his head isn't yellow yet is because he is still a juvenile, and has not molted. His adult plumage has not come in. All cockatiels have female plumage when they are young.
@leprikon Females have stripes under their tails (like yours), males have solid gray under their tails. End of story. Google it if you don't believe me. Just because it may have male behavior, doesn't mean that a female could not possibly have the chance to do the same.
@SleepySpaceSpider The breeder had told me that both males and females have the same plumage before their first molt. That is, both males and females have striped tails before 6 months of age. "End of story." Goku was around 4-5 months old at the filming of this video. Check Google if you don't believe me.
Goku is now is now 7 months old and has gone through his first molt. All of his striped tailfeathers have fallen off, replaced by dark grey feathers, and his head has turned yellow. So yeah.
@LegendaryXwerewolve7 He is not scared of the block at all. I only cut out specific clips when he is making the screaming 'sound' so you can't see the rest where he runs up to the block and starts chirping/talking to it. You can also see that he chews it. If he was scared of the block he would be hissing at it.
