It's an argument between SL (silent line) and LR (last raven). SL is the easier of the two, has the better music, and is the final game where OP-I(Plus) is available to the player without hacks. LR is probably the hardest PS2 AC game, but has the most customization options (more parts). It has multiple mission paths, each with its own difficulty. Unlike SL, the player cannot obtain OP-I, but most game ACs are equipped with it in addition to other OP parts.

well back in AC3 and AC3SL there used to be an optional part called OPS-INTENSIFY and it would give some special bonuses...one of which was the ability to move and fire with cannon weapons

I also miss my EO cores...I use OB but I prefer EO

this is the kind of game that takes major skill to control, not like in halo where you jump and shoot melee strike.

this is a real game high speed action packed adrenaline rush.

the game is complex with so many different parts and

almost every button on your controller plays a major role in how you fight

although i found the delay to use your blade when you land very annoying in AC:AA, and the cool down system and turning took away from the action a bit. overall the series is a MUST BUY!

No because in AC 3 it has Dual back weapons and it does in here too.

In AC 3 it has a bazooka. It does in here too.

Finally look at the part designs. Its VERY similar to the AC 3 design.

no its not. the back weapons are differnt. they might be duals but they are different. reason why is beacuse the AC in AC3 has dual inependant orbit cannons. where the AC in this one has Pursuit missle pods. the Core is different also. the core on AC3 is a EO (Energy Offence i think) where the core from this one is an OB core (over boost). yes they are the same as in size and weight perhaps but not the same at all...

EO actually stands for Exceed Orbit.

It's a weapon pod system that can be extended out and retracted at will, and autofires on any target that appears in the lockbox.

By the way, you didn't happen to get this from the Nexus Revolution disk, did you? Because I remember the bonus intros on that disk being "revamped" with additional stuff, like for example how in the original AC2AA, you don't hear them fire at eachother at the end.

This is probably the best of the series for me... or was; For Answer is actually pretty good with all the new stuff they added, I remember customizing my mechs for weeks at a time, just doesn't feel the same with Armored Core 4, I even miss the heat sometimes... and the story lines are horrible in the new ones, nothing interesting, no big secrets or anything that will get you excited to face a "Unknown" mech or mission. They really need to build up the battles in the new versions.

oh hell yeah. i revamped the light weight one. had the extra armor instead of the turn booster. looked cooler. but for some reason i couldnt make the heavy weight. some part was missing. that head i think its in a mission where u gotta protect the cargo, the trick is to destroy the container and get the head b4 the missions over

You can get your Ac from the previous AC2, just choose the load from AC2 option, and you can get it all. Yes AC2AA doesn't have Human Plus, but if you want it, do like I said above.

Actually, it doesn't matter. In the original game's intro, it just fades to black, so it is left ambiguous. This was edited, I don't know why.

yeah hes the Biped that helps Anteres in the "Final" mission not including the Lost Field missions. Really easy to defeat them both.
