Marquez is my 2nd fav. fighter after Pac., but you gotta do more than just sti back and counterpunch to win a fight. Judges score who pushes the fight, who controls the ring, who is the aggressor, who is volume puncher. Pacquiao was all of that, that's why he won by a narrow margin. Look at their faces. @bootboyupt I think a fighter's prime is always now, it's not 10 years ago or 10 years from now, that weight or at this weight..it's always now, you can't say- "oh he defeated me because i wasn't at my prime yet, maybe 7yrs from now i'll beat him because i'm on my prime by that time!" man i hear this cheap alibi all the time and it no longer works for professionals. Maybe it is just as simple as this- a fighter wins because he is simply better than the other, no need to complicate.
