Orton? Nah, he's had plenty championship runs and will have more(locked contract til 2019)

Jericho? Would be nice, but he's had his moments already, do something else with him.

My top 3 candidates i would go with are Ziggler, Rhodes, or Barrett.

Preferably Ziggler, so that Rhodes can rival Goldust and establish dominance to all. And so Barrett can have another run with the IC or US title seeing as though as that they actually mean something now.

Ziggler's in a title match, Rhodes won't win because he has the IC title, so I want Barrett to win, but Randy Orton will most likely win because it's his home town.
