  • Thats a wierd way to say Murrayfield. I live in Edinburgh.

  • @TheMurraySim: They're american, they always pronounce things wrong.

  • I was there lol

  • IT sould be "THe World (except for USA) Bowl"

  • Please come back to FOX, Kevin Harlan!!

  • Frankfurt Galaxy doesnt exist anymore. :(

  • I completely agree that association football is, and always will be king in europe and most of the world. However I think there is still room for other team sports to emerge. American football is a difficult sport to develop because it is very expensive to field a team because of the equipment and number of players, coaches, and specialized staff involved.

  • cant put a square peg in a round hole, europe is mad for football, but only played with the feet, it looks like real football will soon take america too, games like this are a novelty and have a place in entertainment but nothing beats football, real football

  • @utrapzab then why are the stands full?

  • @drummer1000words fluke and the fact that the tickets were sold very cheap, they werent that full for the majority of games, in fact they lost money on nearly all the games - football is just a better game, this american football is a nice novelty but thats all it will ever be outside america, football should be played with the feet - hence the name - this game should be called armour hand ball, christ even rugby is better than this, and they aint pussy enough to demand armour

  • @utrapzab Uhmm... you're an idiot dumbass. Not only do you not know football codes, but you don't understand that the hits in american football are much more violent than rugby. The president made them wear pads. Rugby tackles have safe tackles, American Football has pads, but much more violent hits.

  • @TheMagicBolt uuummm your the dumbass and ill explain exactly why, FOOTBALL as the name would suggest is played with the FEET - the things at the end of your legs FYI. You might argue that there is the odd kick in whatever that game is but it doesnt define the game, likewise a throw in in FOOTBALL doesnt define it as such, the point being your dumbass egg chasing peice of shit game has no right to be called football, its for wimps, rugby has much harder hits and no pads, similarly played by gays

  • @utrapzab Nope.. your still the dumbass. I have played both sports, American Football is much more violent, rugby tackles are more of a wrestling takedown than a collision. As for FOOTBALL, football is the name given to the football code played in the region. For example in Ireland, gaelic football is often referred to as just Football. Association football, which is what you life, is called Football, where that is more popular. The same can be said with both Auzzie and american football.

  • @TheMagicBolt nope its still you, aussie rules is referred to as such, not football, gaelic football is referred to as such - all because they need to distinguish fromt he world game - football, the only, ONLY world body concerning any football is called FIFA, FIFA doesnt cover egg chasing, rugby is an excuse for accountants to findle each other in the shower so dont think im defending it. rugby is the worst of all games. but grid iron is pretty poor as a sport, they should just ban it lol

  • @utrapzab Oh, im sorry you're not just a dumbass, you're an ignorant dumbass. You see all other sports inferior to your favorite. What is so great about association football? To me it's like hockey, lacrosse, water polo, etc. A ball into a net, play with the feet, rather than hands or a stick. Not to mention its alot more pussy. Damn assholes act like their leg got chopped off when someone bumps them. That's why Rugby and American Football fans don't like it. Go take a history lesson dipshit.

  • @TheMagicBolt lol dipshit - you americans are so funny wit your crappy sweary words, take a fuck to yurself prick, my favoured sport is F1, far superior to your pansy drive in cricles champ car. football (soccer as you would say is the worlds number one sport more people watch it than any other, sit down shut up and enjoy your world series events that only contain americans - ignorant? none more so than the fat ass yanks

  • @utrapzab Yes ignorant. The fact you even think all americans are fat is an ignorant statement. As for Soccer being the most watched. Yes that is true. I never denied that, that is a fact. You have no idea what you're talking about.. World Series?? That is baseball, nobody likes baseball. I was simply defending my sport, which you argue against without having the slightest understanding of the sport. So you and many other countries can have fun watching that 90 min. of a 1-0 game.

  • @TheMagicBolt thats ameirca through and thorugh that last comment, cant watch it unlss there is constant scoring, too easily distraacted by the burgers and hot dogs on sale instead of supporting your team i agree that grid iron is better than baseball but american sports arent that great, motor racing is just round and round, basketball is for the ladies sure but its not that entertaining, grid iron is the best of them, had to laugh at lacrosse tho, how obscure is that

  • @utrapzab Umm.. okay i don't like any other american sports unless its Our football. I do watch soccer games, not MLS, but EPL or sometimes the SPanish league. I just find AMerican Football more entertaining. I guess it's partially because when im out with my friends the NFL is something we can talk about and have pride for our teams. As for the burger comment. Is that necessary? The only american comercials are about beer and cars. But who doens't like a beer when they watch their sport?

  • @utrapzab As for the Constant scoring, there isn't constant scoring. I just think in Soccer, there is too little scoring and the game isn't set up for a do or die finish. THe best part is when i know that every SUnday i will see game that comes down to a field goal to win or lose a game. I rarely see finishes like that in the soccer games i watch, There were some last second scoring which was interesting though. ANother thing, why do they allow ties? I think that's sort of disappointing.

  • @TheMagicBolt draws in league games are fair enough the contest lasts a season not an afternoon, the whole fact that the game is so tactical is why it isnt high scoring but that makes you appreciate it more, it males it more exciting in my opinion. its geprgraphical - the scottish claymores my supposed home town team got crowds of 5 thousand, next door to them hearts - my actual team were getting 4 times that, that follows thru europe football is the game, this game here is an oddity

  • @utrapzab I get that it isn't played much in Europe for the exception of Germany. But i guess its not called AMERICAN football for nothing. In America it is just the opposite. The professional soccer teams here get a crowd of 5 thousand and the NFL games get 80,000. People just grow up watching it here and take pride in their team much like fans of association football in Europe do. As for the tatical aspect, in my opinion no game takes more strategy than american football.

  • Those galaxy jerseys are so badass

  • This was really a Euro Bowl but was still a very entertaining game

  • love seeing foreigners play the sport.. dont know why it got defunct.. if they want american football popular as rugby or soccer shouldnt close down the league

  • @haaaaaaahaaaaaaaaa they were losing money hand over fist every season. Because they were only renting the stadia (and paying VERY expensive rent, at that), they didn't have as many of the streams of gameday revenue NFL teams would have, such as parking, concessions etc. It did introduce a lot of young people to the game though and participation in a lot of the national amateur leagues is up slightly in recent years.

  • @haaaaaaahaaaaaaaaa The resources just aren't available to grow the sport in countries like United Kingdom unfortunatlely :(

  • i remember watching the scottish claymores now that was passion!!!!!!! made up of players from the nfl and local players it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hearing the FOX sports music then seeing World League American Football on the screen made be laugh, seems like a joke

  • @nonamebrand0 Fox had the rights to both leagues at the time.

  • @neoprankster it still sounds funny, like if FOX were to cover CFL games for some reason.

  • The Claymores??? wtf?? Reminds me of Call Of Duty "Planting Claymore!!"

  • Comment removed

  • what league is this? XFL?

  • @gthec9909 World League of American Football (WLAF) which later became the NFL Europe

  • @zeljkodjukic NFL Europa is defunct in 2007.

  • those jersey look awesome

  • anpanman!

  • I loled at 1:28

...but why the "world bowl". Shouldn't it be called the "Europe Bowl"?

  • Muirafied? Edinboro? jesus, get the names right man...

  • Didn't become an NFLE/WLAF fan until 1997 so this is the last World Bowl I missed.

  • CLAYMORES? hahahahhaha

  • why did they stop NFL europe anyway it was awesome?!?!?!

  • @pealcake Because Roger Goodell thought the NFL Europe cost too much money. It's too bad, cos we were happy here in Europe to have football games during spring. Some may say that those games were not very good. I'd like to answer that the games had the level of pre-season NFL games...which is good enough by my standard.

  • hell yeah viva l' NFL Europe,

  • Thanks for the upload! I remember watching this game. A US fan who misses NFL Europe!
