  • The distortion is just so non descript and dull, I think I would rather have an amp which can nail one sound only rather than put up with the mediocrity of this amp.

  • Wow... i like...

  • i came for the distortion i stayed for the clean sound

  • You can hear it breaking when he switches the clean channel to a crunch channel at 1:45 lol.

  • @17solstice Thanks!

  • a shitty 5150 copy. there's your review.

  • @anahaevia666 actually its a 6505 copy(ish) but its actually not that shitty. (although i like the bugera 6262 better, im pretty sure thats a 6534 copy)

  • @anahaevia666

i have it and sound better than others 600/500€ amps ;)

  • It sounds so good but the build quality just sucks.

  • @person8132

i prefer the sound not the quality

  • its a great fucking amp!!!!

  • why the f*ckin hell is he trying a amp with a epiphone lp custom ... you cant show the real quality of it like this ..

  • @Georg5555 Assuming people who cant really afford unnecessarily expensive $3000 guitars buy this amp (which is probably most people) they are most likely going to have a mid range priced guitar like an epiphone LP. Using one shows how it would sound with that quality of guitar. It would be stupid to show a shitty amp with a gibson because people would get the wrong idea that it sounds good, buy it, and be disappointed because they dont have a gibson to make it sound good..people would get jipped

  • @iluvs2sk8 kinda true but i mean the video in general doesnt benefit the amp or the guitar with this low quality " 240p " too

  • @Georg5555 Ok that I can definitely agree with

  • We meet again 240p!

  • Granted you can't get the Peavey 6505/6505+ for under $400 like with this 6202, but you can find used 5150's for under $800 and even $700 if you look at Guitar Center and other music stores with used gear. So, the 6202 is the next best if you really want one of the Peavey's and cannot afford it.

  • If steven spielberg ever remaks back to the future,he should ask paul to play marty mcfly.

  • Coolie labor keeps the price low.

  • Looks like a Peavey 6505?

  • @JohnMichaelEllison It's basically a clone

  • Hi gaise, Czech out my boojayruh awmp!!!

  • the controls on it remind me a lot of the peavey 6505 plus 112 combo style

  • This guy is lucky he knows how to play different styles of popular music. Nobody would just sit there and listen to him for 3 minutes -_-

  • "Let's dive and and take a closer look at this great-paying advertiser's knockoff product."

No sweetheart - it is NOT a "stripped-down rawk machine." It doesn't rock, it doesnt' take well to EL34's and the clean channel sounds like an iPod. For those of you who value your time FFWD to @3:40 for half a minute, and that's all there really is to say. It suck, it has no "great crunch sound" and this review is just a paid-off pitch for a shitty Chinese knock-off of the 5150 prone to fail.

  • I came here to watch it catch on fire.

  • @ShawnFateGuitarist fire up your ass then fuckin idiot.i bet you haven't tried one before and just say whatev someone tells you..

  • @TheDinosdinaras Had two of them in our studio, they both blew up.. sorry.

  • @ShawnFateGuitarist then in terms of maintenance you suck or you're unlucky.one of my friends has this head and nothing has happened for 2 years(i'm sorry too btw xD)the best thing is that if a bugera amp has durability problems you can still get another one or fix it because they are way too cheap xD

  • i cant belive this amp is only $500.

  • i cant belive this amp is only $500

  • Ahahahahahah bujera. @musician1887 not really much difference in volume, or much in tone either.

  • @17solstice Thank you :)

  • hey, does anyone know what the difference is between this and the combo? Sound/volume wise? I'm playing rythm guitar in a band that's getting very serious about gigging. Thanks!

  • Paul's got some ripping chops.

  • Did he say "bujera" or I'm just too high?

  • @amiguels4 we must all be high!!

  • We've all READ what it's features are, dumdumb!! Just give me some damn screamin tone! None a this sissy chill stuff on a high gain amp!! GOSH!! I hate these shitty videos that show the abilities of a high gain amp without showing the full abilities of it's metal output

  • @wowspare It's been said time and time again, but yes, it's based on the Peavey 6505 and the 6262+ is based on the 6505+.

  • @wowspare It's been said time and time again, but yes, it's based on the Peavey 6505 and the 6262+ is based on the 6505+.

  • which is better, line 6 spider 4 75w or Bugera 6260 combo with stock tubes/speakers

    I know, a stupid question...

  • @drugdrunkker definatlely the bugera 6260, it is tube driven and will give the great sound of the peavey 6505+ or 5150. The spider iv wont sound anywhere near as good (very muddy and unlcear) i have one, im looking to sell it. The down side on the bugera is that no in built effects are on board as there are in the line 6, but you can always add pedal on the fx loop for the bugera. I payed $630 bucks for my line 6 in Australia and i could get a bugera online cheaper. Go for the bugera.

  • what is this like a 5150 replica

  • @albertditg

    Similar to the 5150/6505.

You can get these for like $300 used if you can find one, but you can get a used 5150 for about $500. The 6260 does not have the resonance control like the 5150, but it does have reverb.

  • Is this thing good for Satriani and Vai stuff or Gary Moore?

  • @007theAlien

You may want to check out the Bugera 333xl, it's the most similar to the Peavey JSX.

The 6260 is like the Peavey 5150/6505 - agressive mids and grind. The 333xl would be a bit more smooth, and also has 3 separate channels, clean, crunch, and ultra.

  • @sloanstewart Is there a big difference in sound between the stack and the combo and are these reliable because it seems almost too good to be true.

    Btw thanks for answering =)

  • @007theAlien

I think they are the same amp just in different enclosures. I prefer heads for swapping out cabs as that can make a huge difference in the tone. Also closed back cabs generally sound thicker and have a tighter response, which I prefer for high gain tones. In my opinion, carrying a head and a cab is actually a bit easier than carrying a big combo. Some bugera amps, like the 333xl have issues with a molex connector that melts, it can be fixed in about 20-30 minutes.

  • Comment removed

  • that valve beast would take out the wall in my room and the bricks would fall on my neighbours head and they would die and i'd go to prison.

  • @insomniac5150

No. You would go to Valhalla.

  • The sound tone came 90% from the guitar player and just 10% from that amp

  • would the Bugera 6260 2x12 combo sound same as this one?? i will only play in my bedroom and maybe small gigs

  • @store1992 combo would be better for you. but id get the 6262 combo. and it wont sound quite the same, but still very good

  • @store1992 get the 6262 2x12

  • this amp its fukiN gud................

  • why do people think its weird to say it like bujera? i say it because it sounds more natural to me haha its probably said depending on where your from

  • @deathcore1239 I would rather say 'Budżera' :P

  • bouajeerra

  • isnt it boo-gare-a????

  • 3:56 "Now this channel starts to grow some fur, heroes." FUR HEROES!

  • is it a stripped down rock machine? i didnt hear anything about that...

  • I played this at sam ash it kicks ass

  • Nice sounding! Looking for a new amp and I'm thinking of this

  • To some of the questions: I have the 6260 and it can be used either half stack or full stack. It's good for metal core but you might have to play with the eq quite a bit to find your exact tone, or worse case throw a pedal in front if for reason you need an insane amount of gain. I play a lot of classic and modern Euro metal (Scorpions, Gamma Ray, Helloween, UDO/Accept, Maiden, etc) and this thing sounds great.

Another cool thing you can use 6L6 or EL34 tubes, so really any sound is possible

  • @DickBeeter You think it could get a good Thrash Metal tone out of it?

  • @megaluisdeth yea but id get a nice od pedal to put in front of it so you can use the clean/crunch channel for rhythm and the lead channel for solos and whatnot. the crunch channel on this amp really cant get past ac/dc type tones. the lead channel is pretty bad sounding for rhythm imo. also dont get the matching cabinet because it is very cheap and very bad sounding. it makes the amp sound like a spider II if you play anything but clean

  • Always nice to get a demonstration with a guitar that's slightly out of tune.

  • Can this amp be a stack or does it have to be a half stack

  • Can this amp be a stack or does it have to be a half stack

  • would this head be good for say a metal core style playing???? i have a traynor cab but i need a good metal sounding head plz someone help

  • @MetalcorezZ94 oh hell ya this thing and the 333xl are great for alot of kinds of metal

  • @Slydotcom Are you suree? Around 500USD?

  • the harmonic at 5:39 omg omg omg

  • Phonetic is Boo gué rá ! Not Bujéira

  • alright so bugera 6262 or 6260. Which is more for deatmetal/melodic death style music?

  • @xXEsPLoVeRXx 6262

  • what?!?! YOu just told me I was going to HEAR it, and you continued to talk to it! BIOTCH.

  • doesn't sound bad...

  • how much does it cost?

  • @KSEunofficial this amp is amazing especially for the price....the 6505 is better but not worth 600 dollars more

  • @TheGnarchitect i agree...u want more amp u can also get the 6262 Bugera..which is more heavier toned for also a nice price...im looki into the 1990 (Marshall JCM 900 copy) for my needs of playing...nice amps

  • Bush ear-o

  • @17solstice XD Thank you xD Very usefull!

  • worlds biggest 6505/5150 rip off haha

  • Lovely. Vox please

  • Boojera................... :D lol

  • Hey, does the 6260 combo sounds the same??

  • @GregHM81

    they sound very close yes

  • ew wtf is up with that crackle changing to crunch?

  • @fartnuggg Duh, Chinese eat rice, rice is in Rice Krispies, hence: This amp is full of snap, crackle and pop.

  • The Bugera 6262 has the best bottom end imho. I cant wait until i get that amp. But can anyone suggest some pretty good cabs that are affordable (around $350 US dollars)? I would really appreciate it :)

  • @XxsaintsblackxX see if u can get a traynor 2x12 or 4x12(some are around 450CAN, but that might be around 375US or so) they seem good.. i never tried a traynor cab so i cant tell u for sure, but they are made very well and im they have celestions in them(dont know which ones though).. hope this helps...

  • the Behringer thing bothers me!

  • You Dumbass

  • On second thought just get an Engl powerbal.

  • Bugera are nice copycat amps i have tried both this and the 333xl model and they deliver a great tone. Its just to bad that you cant take this amps out of the studio because they break easily (333 knobs and jack plugs). The 6260 as a better build quality than the 333 and is cheaper. If you want a mesa recto sound for relatively low money go for the 333,more of a marshall peavey soldano fan then its the 6260 just remember dont bounce them around to much and they should last you a few years.

  • YOUR SAYING IT WRONG!

  • @MeanGreenMovies YOU'RE SPELLING IT WRONG

  • @omgScrub what?

  • bujera

  • I know this amp is modeled after a peavey 6505, but it sounds more like the peavey valve king.

  • handbuilt my ass

  • this is bugging the crap out of me.

I thought Bugera was pronounced Boo-Ger-Ah. not how paul says, Boo-Jer-Ah. which one is it?

  • @41224jason

its pronounced buguera ... paul has a problem with names i think

he also ruined chuck shuldiner's name

  • That tone for $500!?...now I know how to spend my summer job salary

  • amazing sounding amp at any price.. I bet if this was on sale for $2000 dollars people would say its amazing , Coz its £350 people say its crap ...Close your eyes people and let your ears decide

  • @zeymatis No its not, its worth the price for it but i wouldn't pay a penny more. Its got nothing on the 6505 other then better cleans but the gain is crap in comparison.

  • @gtjumper I'm guessing you have never played either of those amps. I have the 6262 and its sounds just as good as any peavy. The clean channel is punchy clear and sweet- most underrated thing about this amp. I could dial up a fat SRV in seconds. This amp is more of a soldano clone than anything . It looks kinda like a peavey but is a very versatile amp. The gain channel trumps my 1000$+ Marshall DSL. Its heavier than the DSL even when I have a tube screamer in front of the marshall.

  • @evilpoptartz7 Actually i OWN both, and if your going off what has more gain the bugera wins hands down, but i like quality NOT quantity....

  • Nice amp, but one would be better off buying the Blackheart H100 that is American made and cost 499.99!

  • @MultiScoffer They are all made in chin a dude.

  • @abergreg I was told by American Music Supply that the Blackheart H100 was made in America. I will double check and thanks for your prompt responds.

  • @MultiScoffer Yep! They are made in China. And when he told me that these amps where made in America, he said it with conviction and confidence. Thank you again, abergreg. It's good to know that someone has your back! Since this amp head is made in China, retailers should take at least another $100.00 off this amp head. It stills sound good for an amp made in China, though.

  • I think that Guitar World does the best musical instrument reviews. This amp head is nice, but I believe that for the money, one might be better off having the BlackHeart HR. This amp now sells for 499.99 and is American made!

  • THIS is my next amp!!! Great price too :)

  • One word: spooooj-era!

  • this amp is about half the price of a peavey 6505 is the 6506 really twice as good?

  • Is Paul using the stock pickups? it seems too good to be the stocks

  • omg this dude is an improv god ive yet to hear a bad riff

  • As Borat would say, "very nice"

  • sounds great!

  • Tbh, is there really a difference between the 6260 and the 6262?? they both look an seem to sound the same??? :\

  • @ExplodeEd 6262 has seperate eq for lead and clean. clean channel has a crunch switch. thats really the only difference. no difference in sound or tone just extra features

  • Bugera sucks Line 6 Bogner is the shit

  • @eddieboy1234 have you even tried a bugera?

  • @z0mgzt0m yup. Too many problems and sounds pretty cheap in person

  • @eddieboy1234 hhmmm did you try one of the first bunch to be manufactured? because tbh anything new is bound to have some problems, thats why you wait for a while for them to iron out the problems, but for its price you wont get a tube head any better than this, i mean peaveys new 6505 212 is the same price as the 6260 head AND cab put together :D

  • @eddieboy1234 haha line 6....lol

  • @Ralenissocold yea line 6. try the hd100 tube head. it's amazing

  • @eddieboy1234 i have.....just a decent amp.....having presets is kinda useless imo

  • hey does anyone have the 2x12 combo version? i have a problem with feedback with the volume on 1 on the lead channel. my guitar is a squire tele 20th anniversay model. okay is guess the single coil p/u is probably to blame... but set at 1? im about to buy a les paul copy... hopefully that doesnt squel so much. anybody with similar experiences??? thanks.

  • i swear, there is always reverb or something in guitarworld videos, they need to do this in a smaller room or fix the mic or something

  • Boughshera?

  • @PointlessPriest wtf ?!

  • will a bugera 120 watt 6260 head + bugera 4x12 cab be louder than bugera 6260 120 watt combo (2x12)????????

  • would this amp be louder than a fender hot rod deluxe ?

  • Hey i made a bad mistake if you need an amp with alot of distortion like this, THEN DO NOT BUY A DELUXE it seems like the distortion is good when you buy it but i swear to god it sounds like shit and there is not enough of it, so dont buy the deluxe fenders hot rod series is kinda shitty anyway

  • how often do i have to change the tubes?

is it a peice of cheap crap that will destroyd?

i had a line6 spider iv that broke in 4 months!

  • So, I was thinking.

First we had Tube amps. Then we had Solid State amps. Eventually we started getting digital. Line 6, Zoom, GuitarRig, Amplitube, Ampeg SVX... The whole Spider series from Line 6 changed everything in my opinion.

Anyways, so you're saying that it's OK to have a digital piece of hardware that emulates (ie. COPIES) the tone of another amp... BUT it's NOT OK to have a real head that copies the tone? I DON'T FUCKING GET YOU PEOPLE!!!!

    It's cheap. It's all tubes. DON'T COMPLAIN!

  • soldano SLO100-->peavey 5150-->peavey 5150II-->peavey 6505-->peavey6505+-->bugera6260-->bugera 6262

  • They have a great amp but they gotta do something about that name. Bugera, it's like the Moland Springs Seinfeld episode.

  • tune that guitar bro !

  • can someone help me out plz.. i'm looking to buy a stack, and right now i'm considering this head with some cabinet, maybe the matching cabinet. is there any decent tube stack around this price range ( 1000 AUD ). i was looking at some marshalls as that would be an ideal for me. i also really like the orange amps but aren't they a bit pricey. but anyway if anyone has suggestions plz respond, i like the guns n roses, led zeppelin, aerosmith sound. thanks

  • @leddeath80 The Peavey Windsor is a pretty decent single channel amp based on the old Marshall super leads. Carvin sells some good half stacks around your price point. Then theres always Ebay - you can get some damn good deals! If you don't play arena's I would suggest a Blackheart Little Giant half stackl. It's honestly one of the best amp I've ever plugged into in my 17 years of playing. Best $350 I've ever spent. And DON'T let the 5 watts fool ya, this thing can and will scream!!!

  • @leddeath80 , well, you should also state how much are you willing to pay, cause there are some half stacks for around 700ish, but if you want to buy something from the mid/upper tier, like Mesa, vox, soldano, etc, be ready to shell out about 2000 for the head, and another 1000 for the cab.

  • Great and affordable too!

  • this amp give a sound much like early van halen

i really like it tho it looks and sounds gr8 to me

  • would this cabinet be a good combinatio with a dual recto??

  • @ 6:32 and on....... my jaw hit the floor.... paul is fucking amazing!!!

  • Is this a metal amp or can you play multiple styles?

    Please answere!

  • @Julesw01 Dude, you can make almost ANY amp make whatever sound you want. This thing has a clean channel... with a little overdrive (such as an ibanez ts808) you could get a great blues/jazz tone even. Then dial back the gain on the amp'z distortion itself, keep your overdrive on maybe, and you'll have your leads. Any amp is as versatile as you make it.

  • @TheBackwoodsMassacre there is SOME truth to what your saying....but overall your your pretty wrong

  • @Julesw01 this amp is great for almost anything. I don't know about clean but any type of rock works great with it. The clean is very good as well but im sure if all your playing is clean there's better amps out there

  • Looks and sounds like the 5150

  • played out of this thing at a local music shop on a nice guitar (strat-style body set neck with active black rockfields). it was like getting a blowjob for the first time. she will be mine, oh yes. she will be mine

  • @sidlindsay great comment lol

  • "All of Bugera amps are hand built..." Yes, but HOW is the question. :D

  • Can some one please help me im looking for a new amp and i cant decide on one a Blackstar Venue Series 40 or a Peavey 6505 112 or a Bugera 6262 combo. So if any one knows any thing about thees amps and could help me decide please comment me back.

    Thanks

  • Not bad,

  • Can some one please help me im looking for a new amp and i cant decide on one a Blackstar Venue Series 40 or a Peavey 6505 112 or a Bugera 6262 combo. So if any one knows any thing about thees amps and could help me decide please comment me back.

    Thanks

  • I dislike this.

  • his tone is amazing!

  • he's using an epiphone custom.

  • Tune your guitar

  • Anyone seeing the joke about 6260 = 5150(Eddie Van Halen's signature amp)?

  • sweet guitarist

  • Goes to show that the reason it sounds so terrible on the independent demos is because they don't know how to EQ a hi-gain rig.

  • is it a tube amp?

  • great value for money.....

  • He is David Spade? YES!

    VERY NICE!

  • I want this head, but they only have combo's of the 6260 in Australia at the moment, which sux.
