it will work, cos when i got mine it came with a 1gb memory stick pro and a couple days later i got a 4gb in the mail, and it works but i dont think you need 8gb,2 or 4 is good enough :P btw anybrand is good cos i have a sony one and a sandisk one

Awesome phone comes witha 1 gb memory card and you can mail in for a free 4 gb card as well. Holds tons of songs. The earphone/handsfree set it comes with it top notch. the phone looks and feels great

you moron. razr has the worst possible battery life and has NOTHING compared to this phone. does it have radio?no.MP3 plyr?no.Memory Stick?no. LG CHoclate only has 2hrs of talktime battery.what a joke! this ph has 8hrs of talktime life!

probably because your service provider has limited the phones features in it's own firmware

Try using a 30 sec song or 600k song. My would not let me set my mp3 unless it was a smaller size file. Hope that fixes the problem :)

Yep! Storage is accessible from usb cable. You can buy a 4 gig mem card. I love this phone though. I watch my tv shows on it, can download java games from the net and just throw it on there. I love the music player too and the headphones are really high quality that come with it.

youre wrong, it has 3d games and it has EDGE for faster browsing, it also has a 2.0 megapixel camera compared to the 1.3 megapixel of that of the w550i. And other people in reviews complain about lots of problems too... thats why Im switching to the w810i.
