Mate? You're seeing America & its Second Amendment correctly: It's used by moronic Americans to justify racist attitudes & just plain dumb-fuck stupidity. America is full of idiots; idiots who are (in the words of the novelist Tom Robbins) "boney-faced psycopaths without a nickel to their name, who wouldn't hesitate to kill you for a dime." Yes indeed. Other than sheer moronic stupidity, why would anyone bring a goddamned gun to a supermarket? I suppose terrorists lurk in the cat food aisle.
This dude will soon find out why America has their 2nd Amendments close by themselves, real soon!
He needs to hang out in the US a bit more, try Los Angeles County man...Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, maybe Oakland, or try the good ole' deep south like Louisiana, down in Bayou territory and you'll probably be filling out a card to do a purchase...Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha...
You are a smart and interesting man, but you are wrong about guns. The issue here is FREEDOM. Free people, in a free country, should be free to ALWAYS be able to defend themselves from an attack on their life, and only a naive person would believe it is impossible to be attacked when out shopping. The criminals do not have a special agreement amongst themselves to not attack shoppers.
A world with no coffee shops?! My Oregon brain can't comprehend this! I'm used to picking up a loaf of bread at the supermarket, putting it in my cart, then passing the built-in Starbuck's on my way to get a head of lettuce.
How is he a moron? Sounds pretty accurate to me, at least from an outsider point of view. Well, yeah, he went on a little too long about guns, but guns are pretty unusual for people from places like the UK.
I was on vacation in Utah last week, sitting on the tour truck from Antelope Canyon with a French girl, she was making a game of counting churches. There were 9 in a row. Being from Texas, I'm blind to that sort of thing, probably a little blind to guns too. They're just normal to me.
i completely agree. People like him are a disgrace to the concept of "free speech". I noticed how he mentioned "civilised" country...that just took his stupidity to the next level!
I went to a wedding in St. Louis where a minister was marrying a friend of my girlfriend. He was wearing a gun, it was quite an odd site seeing a minister toting a shiny gun on his belt.
2nd amenmdment re: a militia, And the right to keep and carry. Supreme court confirmed this recently...99.9999% of gun owners dont need to carry to the grocery store. I just need to know i could if i had to.
There a lot more people wearing guns on them, mostly concealed however it does seem to decrease crime rates in those areas but there are way too many factors to account for.
I'm all for control of weapons however very few licensed weapons are used in crimes and instead seem to prevent them.
So maybe because he was wearing a gun (and others like him) is why you were safe to go to the supermarket. Police have respond times I'll much rather have someone armed that I can trust (permit) next to me as I'm getting mugged rather then a cop 10 minutes later.
Heh. The coffee shop thing is very true. I live in a somewhat rural community in Oregon and I can think of seven places to get espresso style coffee within a few square miles.
And yes, two of them are Starbucks. In the same parking lot. (One inside a store, another a couple hundred yards outside the store.)
Coffee, local beer, rain, mountains and trees. <3 the northwest.
In fairness Thunderf00t, I used to live in Toledo for a few years and never saw anything like that. Although Ohio can be best described by relatively liberal cities surrounded by a rural ocean of rednecks, so it's not too surprising.
what facts? yes there are people that die from guns. no one, i think, is denying that guns are dangerous. this also has nothing to do with political orientation. of course we dont want guns in the hands of criminals, but gun control is not enough. we are suggesting better means of preventing crime, such as reducing social exclusion and stratification, improving lives and education of young people, and treating mental illnesses and etc
also, imprisonment is not actually a bad idea considering you have a 25% chance of dying within 4 years if you are involved with gang activities. even with the death penalty, not very many people have been put to death, amounting to a 2% chance of being executed, which is why capital punishment and prison are not effective deterrents. its actually safer to be in prison than on the streets. highly doubtful that criminals would just put down their guns
there are many possible reasons to why crime rates dropped: bustling 90s economy, more effective policing, broken window theory, even the legalization of abortion in the 70s. the truth is, no one knows why crime rates dropped
giuliani is more often credited with the broken window theory which was formulated by the police chief he put in place. in any case, crime rates were dropping across the nation at the time, so it would be a little hasty to attribute banning guns in new york to lowering crime rates.
Trust me, there are many, many places "whiter" than Rapid City. I've lived in a number of them. Rapid City at least has a population of Native Americans.
I didn't have a single minority in my grade at school (not just my class - my grade) until 8th grade.
TF00T, while you're in North America, you really should come up to Canada. You'll notice the difference right away (as long as it isn't Alberta). We do a much better job of keeping our religion to ourselves, and we're much more multicultural (in our big cities).
Seriously dude, you could stay at my house, I love your videos so much.
T-F00t, there are many (particularly religious) wingnuts who already regard the US admin as corrupt. The 2nd Amendment will be interpreted in whatever way enables people to hang on to their guns - that's one genie that ain't going back in the bottle any time soon, no matter what arguments you use.
Handgun is a penis replacement. That person wanted to feel like a man. My state (New Mexico) has this too. Many people caring guns wherever they please.
I live in Chicago, which has a complete handgun ban. But the criminals with guns don't follow those laws, which is why we have HUNDREDS of deaths so far this summer. That is because the criminals know that no one in the city can defend themselves and rarely are the police around when a crime occurs. I am not saying every American should have a gun, but I think that owning and carrying a weapon should never be questioned. Fear the government that fears your weapons.
you should see the demographs of longisland. i live in a predamenatly white town where just about 90% are white and when i go to splish splash, a water park, its so weird seeing so many black people.
It's always interesting to get an external, or foreigner's, viewpoint on America.
So often I hear those from other countries lumping all Americans under one umbrella opinion, usually derived from our far too often militant foreign policy.
Our pledge of allegiance says, "One nation under god", and then goes on to say, "indivisible". The truth is we're a very large, and diverse nation of individuals divided by beliefs, cultures, politics, and loyalties.
"...defend themselves against their own corrupt government...": and to occasionally go mad and start shooting innocent people, resulting in deaths and injuries.
hey man this is america where you are aloud to defend yourself. Police aren't going to do shit until they get there so you shouldn't have to rely on them. Anyone that can own a handgun can carry it unconcealed here too without a permit and concealed with a permit
People carry guns for many reasons, a security guard, liquor store owner. FBI stats have shown private gun ownership is a big deterrent to crime. The recent terrorist attack in Israel was stopped by a student carrying a gun who knows how many would have been killed if that student wasn't armed.
yea, the crime rate has dropped, Giuliani ran his fucking campaign on that fact... criminals didn't take the risk of many years of imprisonment just for POSSESSION of guns! whoever owns a gun unlawfully, is autocratically a criminal thus police raids became much more effective...

Besides, how many innocent people died just at high school and college shootings, you fucking brainless scumbag??
until every crazy moron has access to guns they just cause unnecessary deaths of thousands
You can't defend your fucking position, where is your fucking proof rightwing scumbag?? I hope somebody's gonna shoot you in the ass with that fucking legal gun! lol
actually i'm gonna stop me, i haven't bought 10+ guns with the intention of killing dozens of people-you rationale is flawed from the beginning. also, i'm not a random person; i'm a husband, father, and business owner who passed 7 background checks, 8 hours of classroom instruction, and a shooting test to get my concealed carry permit and 11 background checks from the atf to get my class3 stamp of approval for one of my assault rifles.
Why is it, that it's always the religious nuts like yourself are the ones who desperately want to k1ll somebody and advocate gun rights, and at the same time are completely ignoring the basic facts?
There's a good article in wikipedia for instance: 'Crime in New York City'
HINT: since the tight regulations crime rate declined dramatically!
Too bad the nearby areas are still flooded with f1rearms...
BTW I'm not against church shootings! IMO everybody MUST carry/use a gun in CHURCH! xD
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Why do you misrepresent people who defend our constitution? I have guns to hunt and for target practice and for shooting competitions. I lived overseas in Africa and one a few occasions needed a gun to protect my family, my wife used a pistol on a rapist with an axe. If she hadn't had that gun I am sure she would have been killed and my baby boy.
I provided more than enough scientific data to back up my claim, you got one city and even there ur facts are skew.
nope, Penn and Teller are brainless clowns (their look kinda emphasizes this fact so even morons should notice that) , John Stosse is the rightwing propaganda...
Some parts of the constitution are simply outdated so stick the 2nd Amendment up your ass whiny bitch. Do you also wanna restore slavery?
Thats pretty cool. Man how far have you driven so far? I've driven from long island to chicago, and i've driven from east IL to saint louis a bunch of times, but never that far, and over the course of that many days, you must have great faith in your car lol. I've kind of lost all faith in government lately, if ya dont do what they want, they send men with guns to punish you for it.
Why would you need a gun to go to the market ? You been to WalMart lately ?

John Stossel lol! that fucking rightwing nut??
nope, you scumbag, that is the fucking propaganda. I bet he gets his checks straight from Smith&Wesson and rightwing nazi organizations

at least i know s&w is spending all of my revolver $ well;) .38 in the pocket, .357 in the glovebox, .500 in the bag.
check my vids, you'll love my guns
mikemikemofo 3 years ago
nice arsenal lol
so you tell me, who's gonna stop you from killing a few dozens of people if you want to?
that's right, NOBODY... that's why it's bad to allow random people without any restrictions to own guns.
semiliteratedgod 3 years ago 2
actually i'm gonna stop me, i haven't bought 10+ guns with the intention of killing dozens of people-you rationale is flawed from the beginning. also, i'm not a random person; i'm a husband, father, and business owner who passed 7 background checks, 8 hours of classroom instruction, and a shooting test to get my concealed carry permit and 11 background checks from the atf to get my class3 stamp of approval for one of my assault rifles.
mikemikemofo 3 years ago
well who knows what's going on in your (and others' for that matter) fucked up head
you know, those guys who do some shooting usually are seemingly normal people ...
semiliteratedgod 3 years ago 3
IMO your obsession with weapons alone indicates a mental deficiency
semiliteratedgod 3 years ago 4
Ur lack of understanding about the facts and refusal to see the truth indicates you are a moron. Hope that helps.

"Ur" lack of proper English usage is annoying.
studio7manga 3 years ago 5
This is just 2 stupid to respond 2.
ele12957 3 years ago
Teaching xtians proper English, it's like teaching dogs calculus!
studio7manga 3 years ago
"xtians" Lmao!
You the pot or kettle?
ele12957 3 years ago
No, not kitchen instruments, it's a dichotomy between a dumb animal and a reasonable human being.
"xtians" is simply used as a pejorative, perhaps you should look that up, if you are capable of it.
studio7manga 3 years ago
Atheist, just an anagram to "eat-shit" how very appropriate.
ele12957 3 years ago
"Eat shit", that's something dumb animals do, no wonder you thought of it, something's on your mind ay?
studio7manga 3 years ago 2
Not very witty or original are you.
Might be ur diet.
ele12957 3 years ago
Pot calling the kettle black much?

@ele12957
IMO everybody MUST carry/use a gun in CHURCH! xD

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Why do you misrepresent people who defend our constitution? I have guns to hunt and for target practice and for shooting competitions. I lived overseas in Africa and one a few occasions needed a gun to protect my family, my wife used a pistol on a rapist with an axe. If she hadn't had that gun I am sure she would have been killed and my baby boy.
I provided more than enough scientific data to back up my claim, you got one city and even there ur facts are skew.
ele12957 3 years ago
Penn and Teller, rightwing propagandist. Are you a total baffoon?
ele12957 3 years ago
nope, Penn and Teller are brainless clowns (their look kinda emphasizes this fact so even morons should notice that) , John Stosse is the rightwing propaganda...
Some parts of the constitution are simply outdated so stick the 2nd Amendment up your ass whiny bitch. Do you also wanna restore slavery?
semiliteratedgod 3 years ago
Sorry my apologies I didn't realize I was having a discussion with a moron.
ele12957 3 years ago
oh yea, stick your pistol too up your ass, I'm sure there's still some space left near the 2nd amendment
