I agree with you, BUT I do love this album insanely much. The only thing I can complain about is that they sound way too mainstream. It's like In Flame's last album, the same thing.

Still, Infection is one of the best songs I've ever heard.

What they play and the whole album is thousand miles far from emo. Really. I mostly listen to widely defined metal and I can say, that 'The Scythe' album is one of the most original power metal acts I've ever heard.

Got your point- i like their old work more too but enough- they don`t owe us anything- they play what they feel like and if we like it good, if not -good. Just because u bought their old albums doesn`t mean they have to keep singing the same thing all their lives. Besides, they will release an unplugged sometime soon so stop whining. i think damnas vocal change is just cause of the scythe album. hes changing his style to more hard gutteral vocals for now cause of what they did with the scythe. hes still one of the best vocalists ive ever heard!

I got a little disappointed at Damnas live singing... but he sounds almost exactly the same when he screams as he does in the album... I would give anything to see them live...

ShadowyVisions, the fact is simply that I recorded this video with a fotocamera, not a real videocamera..so obviously the audio (as the video) isn't like at the gig..it doesn't have a really great quality simply for this;)

And believe me..I've been to lots of their gig..and their are fucking super on stage!

i saw them live, they're nothing special and there's only a guitar so the sound is a bit plane during solos and stuff

in this video damnagoras sing quite bad, usually he do it better

Also it is long since the last time you have seen them live..it is a year more or less that they have a live guitarrist..Luca first and Raffaele now, and if I'm not mistaken, it is also a guitar teacher.. And in this period they have grown up a lot..believe me..

I always thought they'd be a HELL of a lot better live. Until now, they were one of the three bands I'd pay anything to see on stage. This video doesn't have the best sound quality, but still...they honestly sound like they suck, and it doesn't give me the least bit of satisfaction to say that.
