  • @ablethevoice sometimes I don't wan't to move to those places due to odd weather. Albuquerque has the best weather. Not too hot, not too cold, not too much rain or snow, and not too much clouds.

  • hahaha this is all the rich white areas

  • i live in albuquerque and was born there and also the village in 1:47 is called la qeva

  • Is this a commercial for the Mormon Church? Why so many pics of it?

  • well its nicer here when theres smoke to a point where you cant see past a mile

  • @michaelrmathias It's ok LOL XD

  • @michaelrmathias Ok that was a year ago when I was 13 -3-'...Sorry for being young and innocent??? LOL

  • it's great to look at yes, decent living rates, but soon it will trashed like every other metro area. enjoy while i lasts....:/

  • Every City has bad areas. I have lived in ABQ my entire life and I love this city, would not consider moving away!

  • I Love Albuquerque Even I Live About 15-30 Miles And If U Past Abq. Please Vist My Pueblo Goin West. My Pueblo Is Acoma, Sky City

  • @StarWarsGirl7 Hmmm then you must not get out much. All down central you got people begging for money. Drunks laying on the side walks or harassing folks. The south valley with too many hispanic gangs to count. Western skies witch is also just as bad if not worse. The warzone as they call it out here. Crack town heights and so much more! Oh yeah not to mention the native gangs as well! Albuquerque, NM bring the whole family! teens having babies at the abortion clinic @ central& carlisle

  • @Hustlas4Christ chut up

  • i was born in Albuquerque and ive lived here for 16 years now. . . Albuquerque is nice but i hate the bad drivers that tend to drive really slow when your behind them and the weather can be alittle weird sometimes. Also you just have to know where to be and people wont mess with you if you dont mess with them. As long as you mind your business they will mind theirs.

  • i was born in Albuquerque and ive lived here for 16 years now. . . Albuquerque is nice but i hate the bad drivers that tend to drive really slow when your behind them and the weather can be alittle weird sometimes.

  • Albuquerque is not all that great, the crime is high and there isn't a lot to do except party, which i don't like to do. The mountains are pretty cool though.

  • I want to move to ABQ I'm sick of Chicago Traffic & Gangs & no CCW & Blizzards & Summer Floodings & High Taxes &Cold Winters & Gray skies I'll just miss the Food & some people

  • I've lived here for 5 years... i've seen 2 people die here...there is a fight every week at my school...and tons of mexicans..

  • I miss ABQ and my family, as a native I have to say we were always atleast 10 years behind other states, I have now been away for 20 years and after living in 5 other states and 3 countries, I want to go home, I grew up in the south valley, yes there was crime as there was every else, but we never experienced any, where I'm currently living in the past 2 years I have had the pleasure of being the victim of a home invasion, and two armed robberies at work, and identity theft, so right ABQ looks gr

  • I've lived in Albuquerque for 21 years now, and its the most amazing city. yeah there is crim and teen pregnancy, but where isn't there any of that. everywhere you go there is bad apples, the North East Hights is beautiful but its were all the snoby people live who act like there better then everyone else. the Southwest is the oldest part of the city, down here you have people who are nice and care. Albuquerque is growing! it will be an amazing city when my kids grow and there kids. Albuquerque

  • I wish I could go back there (to ABQ)... I hate this place where I live!

  • i love it here its the beat place to live

  • GOOGLE..SERIOUSLY SEXXY MUSIC

  • Burque...ya'll shoulda went to the "zone" or else the valley...I don't live in burque anymore the zone was cool

  • Albuquerque, Sandia, Santa fe' and gallup......there is no more special and magic place in the word for me than them....thanks for the video...I wish to be there many times!

  • @MJDTUBEV8 p-what is magical about it?

Are you able to perform magic tricks whenever you are in town?

the magic you must be feeling is meth cooking in the air or the smell of alcohol.

  • ive gone twice this year and everytime ive gone i have met some of the most friendliest people. The streets are clean and there are very nice neighborhoods. The roads seem to be drivable. Its a hell of a lot better than racist ass Texas, thats for damn sure

  • this is not the real abq at all this is where all the dam rich ass hole's live . i hate this dam town that is why i am moving to portland

  • @leadfootedmatt1 get a job and quit tokin lol

  • @leadfootedmatt1 Portland??!!as in oregon.Have you been??P town is like la chitown NYC great place to visit.SUCKS TO LIVE.Roads are narrow.signage non existant >parking a sick afterthought of a badd joke.and thats just getting around. Not livivng.unemployment @ 12%.Yea good luck w/ALLL THAT.Roads inalbq are like 21 century compared to Ptown.did I mention the mold??

  • I lived in the 505 for bout 13 years of my life and I gotta say this vid is not a good reflection of how majority of burque really is. This vids all pretty much shots of far west side and west side areas. West side didn't really start getting big til recently, go a lil more into town to see where all the action is. Central Ave runs pretty much right through the whole town take a stroll up it, all the way to tramway from coors to tramway. All along from lousiana to bout wyoming is where it @

  • @MrPumanator Albuquerque might be runner up to bum capital of the world. A lot of them are from the reservations

  • ok I was born and raised in Albuquerque NM and this video is a horrible representation of ABQ. There's no pictures of downtown, only the NE heights? that's dumb. I love my hometown but most of the people that live here need to grow the fuck up and stop trying to make it seem like we're the most craziest people in the nation. If anyone is ever in town, hit me up, I'll show you the fun sides of the 505

  • @wickedamaya88 We are not saying your the CRAZIEST in the nation. He tried his best on the vid btw I haven't seen any crimes nerby my home.

  • Its all about burque,,, for life

  • Somebody can tell me about the general safety of ABQ?? i am from chile, and i worked in Angel Fire the last winter season. Really, i liked the New Mexico State, the geography, hispanic buildings, outdoors activities, museums, stadiums, the food and the people. I have been thinking make a Ph.D in the UNM in the future. But i know that ABQ isn't totaly safety (during the night, I saw how the arrested criminals arrived every minute to the police station in ABQ.) Rio rancho is safe or not?

  • @Biology130 Are you a meth head or a bum? if not don't go to the warzone at night

  • I moved to Albq in 1966 and made the biggest mistake of my life LEAVING it in 1997 - especially to go to Florida. My best memories of my life are centered in Albuquerque...and the mountains (Sandias as well as the Manzanos and the Sangre De Christo... AND the desert!!) Maaaan, you can't get a decent Mexican meal anywhere in Florida! I'm right with you StarWarsGirl7. The Fiery Food Festival ROCKS! And you don't have to attend the Balloon Festival to see them...they are EVERYWHERE! I wanna go back

  • i visited new mexico, for the first time and i had a blast. i was in taos, in the mountains and i had a great time out there! next time is albuquerque to meet a good looking girl.

  • everyone is so friendly in abq! i love it!!!

  • Thanks for uploading. Dad and I got back from a trip to ABQ in January. It's a great place and we can't wait to go back. =]

  • albuquerque is the best i have lived here for over four years and it is awesome its better than gallup here you dont see bad people hardly and secnd you dont see teenagers going pregnant maybe once in a while but at least its not like gallup

  • I agree this place sux coming from cali this is nothing like it or never be this is a place that def not enchanted about it hell no not for me this is really gay nothing but teen pregnacies and rude drivers not to mention stupid people can't even get a order right dumb asses

  • @wholeshow2 ,There is no reason for that...I'm from Germany and ive been to Albuquerque,And California.I would choose Albuquerque anyday.

  • Okay, ABQ is awesome! I went there for one year at UNM. I didn't even get to experience it in its entirety and even I think it is the most beautiful place ever.... and I live in SoCal where "beautiful people" are supposed to live. I met the love of my life here. There will always be a special place in my heart for Albuquerque. I plan on settling down here in the future... after school of course.Don't dis ABQ. Most of you who dis it were probably on your way to Texas and stayed on the freeway.

  • StarWarsGirl17,

You obviously don't watch the news. Crime ridden, asshole drivers and nothing but dirt and rocks. Also, some of the rudest people I've ever met. The only thing attractive about Albuquerque is seeing it in my rear view mirror. Nothing enchanted about this place.

  • @TheSocialFeedback You must be in a different Albuquerque then. Sure it has crime; all cities do. But like I said, it has tons of great parks, restraunts, schools, and festivals...so yeah.

  • Yes, I imagine the person taking these shots, wouldnt see anything bad. Your in the far NE heights. Take a walk thru Valley Gardens, or wells parks, or barrellas or the SE heights, and tell us your story then. I LOVE Albuquerque! I was lived most of my life there, raised there, and it is beautiful, and cultured, and has everything you could want, but it has real crime, and gangs and drugs like very few cities experience. It just is what it is, you take the good with the bad.

  • @XSlapXTasticX Oh...I'm sorry I didn't know....but can you give me some slack? I'm only 13!!!!!!

  • You obviously don't watch the news. Crime ridden, asshole drivers and nothing but dirt and rocks. Also, some of the rudest people I've ever met. The only thing attractive about Albuquerque is seeing it in my rear view mirror.

  • @StarWarsGirl7 it happens... it used to happen alot when i was little but abq has really cleaned up :) i cant wait to live there again once i get out of the military :)

  • @StarWarsGirl7 -you never saw teen pregnancy in ABQ, you must be blind or you dont really live in ABQ, I seen pregnant teens all the time, must be something in the water, after all, New Mexico is #2 in the nation for teen pregnancies, teens love to have sex in New Mexico. We even had a daycare in my small town high school just outside of ABQ.

just recently, NM was rated the worst state to raise a child, and I got robbed the there also.

  • @locoranchers No I did live there, for four years. At my school, I never saw it. But I lived on the Air Force Base, sooooo maybe that's why I never saw crime. I understand that there had to be SOME crime in ABQ, because all cities have it. But I loved Albuquerque so MUCH, and I always looked at the good things, and not the bad :). Please don't hate on me ok? I'm only 13 :P

  • @locoranchers Had a motorcycle stolen there 8(

  • @StarWarsGirl7 Well, I lived there for five and I was shot, beaten, killed... oh wait

Abq. is an awesome place but it is not perfect. 300+ sunny days but it is too dry for me.

  • @StarWarsGirl7 It's better than Santa Fe, but there is a ton of crime and teen pregnancy. You must have been living under a rock.

  • @maganaonline Well when I lived there, I DID live on Kirtland....sooooo that might be a reason ^_^"....

  • @StarWarsGirl7

Sorry, I beg to differ. Lived 14 years. Affected by crime 6 times. Near Eubank/Chico, 4 years-home burglarized 3 times; later for 5 years near Tramway/Central; car stolen and different vehicle vandalized. Moved to west side near Coors/Iliff. Murder at Denny's in 2009 only 3 blocks from my home. Trashed pedestrian overpass at I-40/Coors, LED lights shot out along walkway illuminating artwork. Sick and tired

    so moved away.

  • @DontBuyChinese Ok that was like a YEAR ago when I said that, ok?! I realized I didn't see all that stuff because I lived on Kirtland Airforce Base. I never saw any crime for that reason. ABQ IS a big city, so yes I'm aware that it has crime just like any other one. But even still, I love the sunsets, the festivals, and the mountains. THAT will never change.

  • @StarWarsGirl7 Lol, you never paid a visit 2 my hood, up here in the war zon(international Distict.)

  • @mindblown2008 Guess not LOL ^_^'.....

  • @StarWarsGirl7 Its kinda quiet right now in the hood, but in the summertime, on a friday night, just walk around the zone(sober, and make sure ur armed with a weapon) Friday nights in the summertime is when alot of shit tends 2 pop off, espicailly on those fridays that come right after the 1st, lol, when people got money

  • @mindblown2008 First of all, don't have a weapon....second of all, I moved away from ABQ 2 years ago because of job reasons :P!!!

  • @StarWarsGirl7 feel proud, you escaped the land of entrappment unscathed, feel proud of that. Not 2 many can say that they moved without warrents

  • @StarWarsGirl7

What?!?! You've never heard about any crimes in Albuquerque?? There's ALWAYS some Mexican criminal on TV. And there's TONS of teen pregnancy in the southern parts of the city.

However, Albuquerque is beautiful in the mornings.

  • @DimebagVision Again, I said that a year ago -3-.....That's when I had just moved from ABQ, and when I lived there, I lived on the airforce base, so I never saw ANY crime.

  • @StarWarsGirl7

LMFAO!! The Kirkland Airforce Base is RIGHT next to crack neighborhoods.

  • @DimebagVision I know....near Wyoming right ^_^'? Sometimes I would hear things about people ramming the gate and what not, but that was really it....I didn't pay much attention to crime when I lived there; only the good qualities.

  • @DimebagVision But you never hear about all them heroin strung out kids up in the east side of town! theres just as much crime all over the city why does it gotta be a mexican?

  • @TheMontoya09

Because that's all you see on the news lol. But i do know some really cool law-biding citizens who are from Hispanic decent, so it all evens out. And there are coverages of meth houses in the far north-east heights area. It just depends on which news station you watch.

  • wow, Mormon much?

  • Albuquerque Is A Great City! I Lived Here For About Two Years Now its An Awesome City!! i liv e their with my mom and dad we live in the west side called Ventana Ranch

  • @390MUDDIN you are telling the absolute truth! I lived there for 7 months and the only good thing about it to me was the landscape....

  • I'll give it to you... Albuquerque is good if you like illegal Immigrants making it damn near impossiblew for the average joe to get a job... a huge drug problem, one of the highest drop-out and teen pregnancy rates in the country, a police force of 1100 officers for over 550,000 citizens... and it's all just getting worse.

If you're going to post a vid, make it un-biased. Almost every pic in the first half of this vid was from the NE heights (Albuquerque's richest area).

  • i rep 505 the just got a good 200 more i live in the ne heights and the drugs that are a problem in this COUNTRY are cigs and alchohol kill more people every year than all illicit drugs and pot is the main drug of use in the berg dont be ill informed

  • Do yourself a favor and stay in school. With sentence structure like that, people might think you're a dumbass. Don't be ill informed now!

  • @390MUDDIN richest area my ass... my grandparents live up there and they are no where near rich... either that or i have a really nice inheritance i'm gonna see in about 20 years :P

  • If you want some real shit, cruise central at 1:00 a.m. and see who's really giving albuquerque its charm.

On the lighter side... we do have some bad ass shows, cool bars, and a pretty good street racing scence... and like 2 malls. Yay Albuqerque!

  • lol i'm guessing you're a mormon, hey if you're from SLC be sure and tell you're church we want our Gold back.... They'll know what your talking about....

  • yes, I've always wanted to plan a huge heist, involving a helicopter, to get that gold back!

  • Nice music.... ^^''

and I love Albuquerque too :D

  • Parts of it look like Chihuahua or Coahuila. That could be in part to it being on the northern fringe of the Chihuahuan desert.

  • ya know im not to fond of that mushy stuff but this vid made me smile and kinda made my eys water. as much as i put down my home town for the stuff we do and dotn have. i love it here.....

  • i love Albuquerque, NM

  • all does stupid ass people talking shit about albuquerque are fucken stupid it its really nice here relaxing chill place to live...find out for your self

  • why would you even show the shity parts. all the mexicans ruin it. go back to mexico. or the south valley. k

  • I can't believe this beautiful city gave birth to that God awful microsoft!!! That's a damn shame!!!

  • I lived in Albuquerque for 26 years moving there in 1980 at the age of 23. I saw the city and state change is so many ways; some good and some not so good. I miss the views of the Sandia mountains, the unique pueblo and territorial style architecture, the NM State Fair, Indian tacos, the smell of roasting green chile in the fall, drives through the Jemez mountains, and the wonderful people. Thanks for the film and the nostalgic memories it provokes.

  • my house is in there!!!

  • i live there

  • i miss my home state

  • I LOVE ALBUQUERQUE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love it here! It the secret of the southwest! Its so nice here!

  • Ohhhh yeah i know now haha just had to think about it its close to the west side

  • That church is located on Eubank between Academy and Paseo Del Norte.
