ich weiß nicht genau worauf du anspielst, aber der Film wurde hauptsächlich in den Bavaria Filmstudios gedreht. Ich war sogar in dem U-Boot drin. Von außen sieht es aus wie ein einfacher Tunnel, doch von innen ist es detailgetreut nachgebaut. Übrigens für die Ausenszenen wurden zwei Modelle verwendet. Ein 13 Meter langes, das nur eine Person zum steuern hatte und durch das Wasser gezogen wurde in der Nordsee. Und ein kleines Modell für die Unterwasserszenen in einem kleinen Teich.

More sequences of the Uboat plowing through the Northern Atlantic would have been fine. To me, that is the major optical effect of the film - a non-CGI-bullshit realistic looking impression of a small German Uboat alone, almost lost, on the ocean. This is so crazy. Imagine staying several weeks in such a little tube made of steel yawing three weeks in a terrible storm! It is absolutely brilliant to see the U 96 like this. But the techno version of the theme sounds bad and old-fashioned. :-/

You're absolutely right, the techno remix of das boot was released in 1991! As I remember, it was the first techno song to be played on german mtv

Wonderful video, well done! I always wanted to make my own video of the 5:15-version of U96, but I never had the programs (and such) to do it. Your version is very cool; the scenes of the movie fits very well with the music.
