I disagree respectfully.My father is a preacher and he is a whooper and i was brought under that.You must understand that before the do a 2-5 minute whoop they preached for 20-25 minutes before that.And in my opinion i dont believe whooping is going out of style at all.I prefer a whooper over a lecturer any day because if i want to be talked to i do believe that why you go to bible study and sunday school.On sunday morning i want to be inspired and uplifted by the word.

let me advise you min. donald, the whoop is out....people are looking to be educated and ushered into the presence of the lord. i started preaching when i was 14 and was raised well in the whoop dept.but one day i woke up and realized that information through conversation is far more powerful. ive been preaching now for 18yrs and the last two has been the best years of my life so think about that

on sunday morning i dont need to hear a lecture...or a bible study...thats why i can appreciate preachers like my pastor, Dr. Frank E. Ray, Sr. and Dr. R.A. WILLIAMS...who through expository preaching can take a text and tear it apart and then give me some gravy...whooping is not out...only to people cant really handle it...maybe if you went back to it, you might like it again...
